I've always assumed Morton Downey Jr. was the prototypical obnoxious talk show loudmouth spewing angry opinions and calling everyone names... that was in the 80s. Limbaugh came after him with his 'feminazis' and such. The concept of the shrill, angry SJW isn't even 10 years old... I don't think the left has ever had anyone on Limbaugh's level.

Not sure if anyone has noticed, but of course Trump has completely ignored the shooting despite the fact that the Indian community truly believes that his rhetoric contributed to it. I guess he will continue to focus on imaginary violence while ignoring actual violence from now on.

nah, I don't buy it. my supposition is they (whoever this large segment in the "middle" is) hasn't given much thought to their social/political worldview and that's why they end up railing against the ends so to speak. the whole cry of "why cant we get something done" speaks to their undifferentiated state. again, unless their beliefs are a hodge-podge on the ideological map, which is very difficult to make sense of.

The dementia is clearly setting in. hey troll---having the ot as a part of the bible, recognizing its divine inspiration, using it for instruction, seeing it as co-equal to the new testament as a part of the story of god, etc---is not the issue. the essence of the question has to do with the following of the old testament in terms of the violence contained therein. further, the coming of Christ was the fulfillment of the prophecies of the ot and the end of "levitical law." when elements of commonality exist between the two they are owe-able to the divine nature and natural law. Christians don't stone homosexuals and they don't mass together in warring against a people group in order to inherit the land. in short, there are no Christians "following the old testament" in the sense that the phrase is meant. so: quote: If I disagree with another poster I will deliniate my disagreement with validation from reputable sources.
