One place you can find reliable information is: "Myths of Gender" By Anne Fausto-Sterling, Professor of Biology at Brown University. Fausto-Sterling systematically demolishes the myth of biological gender determination, which is the notion that underwrites all the varieties of crude sexual stereotyping such as the one you have advanced.

Tweak, didn't we do this discussion not more than a month or so ago?

Well, whatever, I sure as hell can't be arsed to kick this tired old football around yet again now.

Yep. More evidence of the learning/comprehension challenges faced by minds infected by right wing ideology. Some of these minds are so closed it really doesn't matter how often or how clearly the elementary facts of the discussions are pointed out to them, those minds simply fail to register or comprehend those facts.

Sadly there's not much any of us can do about stupid and there's even less we can do in the case of closed uninformed minds who insist that their intuitions are more valid than decades of research and study.

Cite me one study that honestly represents the hours, education, work experience, the type of work etc in their so called facts.

I have just cited you a book that is essential and elementary reading for anyone who wishes to educate themselves about gender issues.

I'll be happy to cite you heaps more after you have read that book. If you decline to read the cited book, there's not much point in citing further readings for your education is there? Coming from your base of knowledge about gender, which is pretty close to zero, it would be remiss of me to help you attempt to walk before you have mastered crawling.

So read the cited work and then get back to me.

Great. Show me a hundred or so high tech acquisition corporate contracts that were signed by women.

...okay.
Major key moves from Google and/or Youtube since ~2010...
does that work for you?

Susan Wojcicki was in charge of many of the sub-branches of Google (including the google doodle which grew exponentially to the complex and animated doodles which requires formal contracts and approvals from IP holders, artists, and legal) and spearheaded Google's acquisition of Youtube in 2007, before later being appointed CEO of Youtube.

but what does that prove?

Women can sign contracts, close deals, and negotiate just as well as men...
in fact it is argued that they can do so better as they multi-task and problem solve more constructively then men.

It proves Susan W is an anomoly.

I am not arguing that women can't sign, close and negotiate, etc. I am saying that in most cases they don't. It's still a man's world. There are many different reasons for that. One being that top level men want to deal with other top level men.

First of all, you have to have facts. Your little sociology pamphlets that tell you what to think really don't count. So let's not cast stones while living in a glass house.

No it's a book that spouts propaganda from closeted neo-liberals. Living in the real world would help understand the issues. But, it would have to be done with a truly open mind, which I doubt is practicle for someone with a garbage PhDs in woman's studies or sociology.

It's staggering - so many prejudices compressed into just three lines. Also fascinating, this belief that the less you've learned, the more you know.

That is very presumptuous and entirely incorrect.

More women negotiate, sign, and close then men because there are more women in Retail which do exactly that on a day to day bases with individual consumers. The idea that a woman cannot compete with a man 'at the top level' is entirely unfounded and some what silly as it has been disproven time and time again.

The reason why there are no top level Tech CEO's that are female is because you can't just get hired into that career, you have to work your way there... and well... the Tech Industry is one of the most stressful careers out there because a general lack of individual value compounded by an exponentially large amount of work demanded per deadline. You are undervalued and over worked.

women which tend to hold themselves to higher standards and in turn demand more respect, often do not allow themselves to suffer through it as the trouble is not worth the payoff, while most Men simply 'soldier on' through the adversity.

It is why most all of the high-stress jobs have disproportional male/female ratios.

Hang on ... you went to college?

I don't believe tamaka's boast either. Though it's possible she bought the 'degrees' on the Net for $10 each.

And you know this how Mr Super Intellectual? Have you read the book? Do you know who the author is? Are you familiar with the subject matter? The answers to all the questions is a resounding NO. Yet you have just arrogantly dismissed a complete book on biology by a specialist in the subject without either reading it or knowing what it is about. And you have the nerve to criticise others as lacking "a truly open mind" ......!

FYI "Neo-liberalism" is an economic philosophy that promotes free markets and free trade. Describing a book about biology as "propaganda from closeted neo-liberals" tells us you haven't the faintest idea what you are talking about. And learn to use a spell check. It will help hide the rampant ignorance that permeates your posts.

Another celebration of ignorance and anti-intellectual bigotry by one of our resident looney RWNJs ....

Whatever... denying it doesn't make it untrue. But that is something your type doesn't have a grasp on.
