So you are innumerate and can't read, what's new? Where in your link was there any information about -percentage of own income- paid in taxes? Nowhere. There was grouping of income levels, which says nothing about typical individuals within those groups. Five percent within a quintile can skew the numbers within, not that I expect you to understand any of that. There were both those among the lowest quintile and in the .1% who paid little or no taxes. Considering the fact that the US hasn't raised the minimum wage in forever and that the US bails out banks who pay $26 million bonuses for driving the business into the dirt except for the bailouts, or in any other case, why is there anyone in the top .1 % not paying taxes? And yes, most of MacDonald workers and Walmart workers pay taxes. These are known as 'the working poor,' and one could argue that they shouldn't have kids if they are that poor, but one could also ask WTF! that the richest country in the world has so many millions of people they can't pay sufficiently enough to do what nature says and have kids. You are a classified idiot and self-admired lunatic, so I know I'm wasting my time in even saying this, but when wages keep falling behind increase in productivity, then the economy will decline. The US employment rate has gotten to a somewhat normal level, but that as result of the wages of the lowest two quntiles being lower than they were ten years ago. If you want the lowest income earners to pay more taxes, then pay them enough money to do so or STFU.
