Trucks are nice! Maybe in a few years when Ford learns how to make them get 50 mpg I'll buy another one!
I love the Mercury though. Nice riding, very comfortable!

WOOF, stef!! I used to have a 1990 Yamaha FZR1000.

Now I'm trying to stay awake in my '96 Lexus ES300. Actually, it's not too bad. It hauls ass and handles pretty well for a front-driver.

I think I'm in love....with your truck

I can't believe it hasn't quite been a year since I lost my dad's 1967 GMC pick-up with a 350 V6. Up hill, down hill, loadeed or empty it got 7 mpg. Pistons were as big as a coffee can. It was 80% restored and was making a nice hit on the local car show circuit called cruises. Then Katrina came to town. I had to leave it behind and eventually was stolen.

Now, thanks to FEMA, I'm drivin g a '98 GMC Sierra Van fully loaded. I added keyless entry. I can get 15-25 mpg depending on how fast I drive and the direction of the wind. It's VERY windy in OK. I use my cruise control to stay at 62.5 mph. At 70 the mpg goes out the window.

Hey I just saw a rig on TV the other day that used 150 gals. to the mile. That's not a typo. Of course it was moving a 3000 TON building

I remember those '67 GMC's.
Yup, BIG engines but gas was .28 cents per gallon in those days.

I did drive my baby, a 2003 Silver Pontiac Vibe... I called her my "pocket rocket"....

Due to an illness, I lost her..but she is still my baby, no matter who owns her now.

We drive a 2002 green Honda Civic.  Good gas mileage and it's kept together well.  Rolled over a hundred thousand miles just two days ago.  Here's to another hundred thousand.

I drive a maroon Lincoln Navigator.  Grey interior, completely loaded, heated/air conditioned seats, moon/sun roof, GPS, Retractable running boards, DVD player.  Love the ride, but gas mileage sucks.

My usual drive is a 1998 Saturn SC2. It's nimble and very easy on the gas.

My first car, which I still have and rarely gets driven these days, is a 1965 Ford Mustang.

it's a '92 subaru with 89.000 miles the second time around. it leaks between the roof and windshield ( bathtub caulking fixed that) , the gas cap is held on by a hello kitty shoelace glued to the cap and tied to the car so I don't lose it, and the door is held closed by duct tape. duct
