Police: Reports Of ‘Multiple’ Casualties In 2 Terror Incidents In London

PHILADELPHIA (CNN/CBS/AP) — London authorities say there are reported “multiple” casualties following two terror incidents in the city on Saturday night.

A van plowed into pedestrians on London Bridge and two people were stabbed at a nearby cafe.

A witness on the bridge told CNN the van mowed down pedestrians as it sped south across the bridge, leaving bodies lying in the roadway.

Another witness, who was in the cafe, said a man with a “massive knife” entered the restaurant at Borough Market, just south of the bridge, and stabbed two people inside. The patrons sheltered in the basement and police then arrived at the scene, the witness said. The condition of the stabbed people was not known.

The BBC reports more than one person died on London Bridge. Nick Brandon of British Transport Police told The Associated Press that they received reports of “multiple” casualties in an incident possibly involving a knife and a vehicle.

A witness of the London Bridge incident said the attackers were yelling, “This is for Allah.”

Police tell The Associated Press that shots have been fired at Borough Market after responding to reports of stabbings.

London Bridge Tube station was closed and London Bridge was closed in both directions.

British Prime Minister Theresa May says the “terrible incident in London is being treated as a potential act of terrorism,” according to a statement.

The question in the original post was, "If there were less attacks in the UK, would there be less food banks and more people making more money? "

I'm still uncertain how the OP's question connects food banks/employment with terrorist attacks.

susie -> RE: London Death in June (6/3/2017 8:14:04 PM)

The latest news is that 6 people have lost their lives in this attack plus the 3 attackers that were shot by the police. 30 people injured and taken to various London hospitals.

My guess is fewer food banks fewer fat and happy Muslim terrorists on the tit? Only three killed by police? This is why I'm so happy to have the right of concealed carry. At least we have an option to exercise a more immediate deterrent.

I think that there were only 3. That is all that were there.

Compared to every leftist here, President Trump displays massive, towering intellect:

Trump urges end to political correctness in wake of London attack

WickedsDesire -> RE: London Death in June (6/4/2017 11:24:01 AM)

Have you never wondered what he is on the shichter scale? Would you kiss or tongue that boscox? Or lap it all up whilst screaming for more trump jobbies: nutritional value complete shite for the draft dodger

what does this even mean someone explain please?
"We must stop being politically correct and get down to the business of security for our people," Trump wrote on Sunday morning. "If we don't get smart it will only get worse."

The planners chose to strike two days before the general, which was stupid. Ramadan festivities apparently take priority over common sense for them

The general election will go ahead, but the results could be drastically altered by the recent terror attacks

Last night’s attack in London could give a huge boost to the Conservatives’ chances in the election, as it becomes more about national security than Brexit or austerity. But Labour shouldn’t lose hope

Yanno, May was the equivalent of the Home Security Secretary when she was not the Nutsucker Prime Minister, seems like she did a rather cunt of a job at it, most of these people having been there since she was. Why carry coals to Newcastle?

Something tells me that little angry gramps is trying to tell us that he is deeply ashamed of his penis

I only call you a prick because I dislike the word cunt. Love your penis slur, does that make you fell more manly ?

The Muslim mayor of London wants you to accept this as normal

"Londonistan"

Yet, you refer to Saudis as 'allies'
Yaknow, those guys who hijacked our planes and killed thousands of our people.
Yaknow, those fucking savages who still engage in human trafficking.
They're your friends.

Dont start me on the Saudis Salafi Jihadism. They have the oil and get a free pass.

True. 20,000 police personnel cut since 2010 by the Tory/Lib coalition, then the Tories. The armed police working around London Bridge have been doing sixteen hour shifts as a result.
