Come to think of it, I won't bother to argue ANY points with you tamaka. There seem to be a lot of people on here lately I am beginning to feel that way about. I think you can join their happy throng on ignore.

Brainless straw man argument, tamaka. Waste of time, as I've said. Try to read with at least some of your prejudices about what your opponents believe put to one side.

Stop worrying about straw and start worrying about your homeland.

The police ran away

quote:

Guardian reporter Lisa O’Carroll is at Borough Market, where she says multiple stabbings have been reported:

Witnesses said they saw two men stabbing people outside the well-known Roast restaurant in Borough market. A chef from the nearby Fish restaurant said: “I saw two guys with big knives downstairs outside Roast. They were stabbing people. The police were running away, they were community police. They were normal officers, they were running away.

“The guy with the knife was killing two people. We were shouting ‘stop, stop’ and people threw chairs at them. Police came and shot straight away.”

Another staff member from Fish said: “I saw two people in Breadhead bakery, they had blood on them, they were civilians. I never expected to see this happen here.”

Neither wanted to give their names.

psst awesome tagline I reckon your own shadow could best you and run in the opposite direction- well you are more crawler in a puddle of your howling shit are you not

Who is worse Griffin or Trump

Kathy Griffin

Donald Trump

Republican candidate Donald Trump is accused again of hinting at an assassination of his Democrat rival Hillary Clinton. So that’s twice just to be clear,

After Trump adviser Al Baldasaro told a radio host that Clinton “should be put in the firing line and shot for treason

Donald Trump didn’t distance himself from Baldarsaro. Rather, he praised him. Two days ago, Think Progress reported, “Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has confirmed that his adviser who once called for Hillary Clinton’s execution is still part of the campaign… ‘Al has been so great,’ Trump said. ‘Where’s Al? Where’s my vet?’”

Trump supporters shout things like, “Kill her!” and “Trump that bitch!” on such a regular basis that reporters felt it necessary to document it in compiled footage.

Please note the source Bosco advances for his claims. Yes it's the Guardian, that far leftist rag that Bosco has assured us on numerous occasions is nothing more than pure leftist propaganda with not a skerrig of credibility, a purveyor of false lies and 'fake news' that is not to be believed on any score. A source that Bosco dismisses pre-emptorily whenever anyone else uses it to promote a viewpoint that Bosco finds not to his liking.

Yet suddenly all is changed and here we have Bosco approvingly citing the Guardian to support his post. Putting aside my surprise to see Bosco confessing to reading that 'scurrilous leftist rag', I for one am glad that he has finally seen the light and is at least reading quality journalism. That is an encouraging development because, as far as I know, this has never happened before, it is unprecedented for Bosco to approve of anything the Guardian publishes, or for him to encounter quality journalism.

Now, if only he could absorb some of the facts that the Guardian publishes .... wouldn't the world be a better place?

PS: I wonder if he realises that this now means that he can never pre-emptorily dismiss the Guardian's content from now on ...? That he can never dismiss it as a purveyor of 'fake news' and leftist lies? That he will have to take it seriously ...?

Back to the topic:

quote:

Mayor of London Sadiq Khan previously criticized President Donald Trump’s plan to restrict travel to the U.S. to prevent radical Islamic terrorism from targeting American citizens.

Khan, the city’s first Muslim mayor, declared early last year that Trump’s “ignorant view of Islam” could make the U.S., as well as Europe less safe, The Telegraph reported.

“Donald Trump’s ignorant view of Islam could make both of our countries less safe — it risks alienating mainstream Muslims around the world and plays into the hands of extremists,” he said last May, “Donald Trump and those around him think that Western liberal values are incompatible with mainstream Islam — London has proved him wrong.”

PeonForHer -> RE: London Death in June (6/5/2017 7:05:24 AM)

Yes ....

So, presumably you disagree with Sadiq Khan, then?

We learned - painfully slowly, and very much the hard way - how to play it during the Troubles in the 1970s and 1980s, when the Republican terrorists were active (and were violent much more frequently than the Islamists have been to date) that it was a bad idea to piss off Irish nationalists as a group too much. The least that would happen would be that channels of communication with the non-violent ones would close down; the worst would be more young, angry people signing on with the IRA or one of its offshoots. Also, Irish Nationalism would gain support abroad - which would mean greater funding (e.g. from NORAID in the USA - plus the occasional celeb like your own beloved Gene Kelly). You can't afford to make an enemy of a big demographic. The Muslim population of the world is a lot bigger than the Irish Nationalist population. And - looking at it from a deliberately cynical angle - the most stupid strategic mistake of all is forget the cardinal principle of 'divide and conquer'.

In general, the average rabid American islamophobe - such as yourself, Bosco - has fuck all to teach the average Brit about how to deal with terrorism - no matter how fondly he imagines that his islamophobia is actually plain 'realism'. And the same absolutely goes for that great orange berk you've installed in the White House.

BoscoX -> RE: London Death in June (6/5/2017 7:15:20 AM)

What was interesting about the Mayor's comment was that he strongly suggested that addressing the Muslim terrorism issues in a realistic, straightforward manner makes Muslims become terrorists:

quote:

“Donald Trump’s ignorant view of Islam could make both of our countries less safe — it risks alienating mainstream Muslims around the world and plays into the hands of extremists,” he said last May, “Donald Trump and those around him think that Western liberal values are incompatible with mainstream Islam — London has proved him wrong.”

So... With that in mind, since Muslims are apparently all on the edge and the slightest remark sends them spiraling into hack slash 'Allahu Akbar' mode...

Why would we want to import more of them here, into the United States?

He proved President Trump correct in two different ways in that statement

I wonder if anyone has ever whispered in the orange disaster's ear that the key to a successful anti-terrorist campaign is to use political strategies to alienate the terrorists from their support base ...? I don't recall Trump addressing this approach in his recent trip to the ME which he chose to lecture the Arab world rather than engage with it.

Trump's arrogant attitude is the answer to IS's prayers. An arrogant bumbling fool in the White House, who would be pushed to identify the Arab world on a globe, is surely all their birthdays at once. It's not like an arrogant rich white Westerner lecturing the locals on what is good for them is a new or unique phenomenon, is it?

BoscoX -> RE: London Death in June (6/5/2017 7:36:30 AM)

So... Why don't the Jehovah's Witnesses or the Amish go on global jihads every time they're discussed in ways that aren't perfectly PC

Dog knows, you alt left radicals maniacally rip Christians all of the time

The Witnesses were just banned in some freaking place. Many Muslim countries ban all Christian activities, behead them etc

With Muslims, it's 'draw a cartoon, then go into hiding for the rest of your freaking life'
