The police ran away

quote:

Guardian reporter Lisa O’Carroll is at Borough Market, where she says multiple stabbings have been reported:

Witnesses said they saw two men stabbing people outside the well-known Roast restaurant in Borough market. A chef from the nearby Fish restaurant said: “I saw two guys with big knives downstairs outside Roast. They were stabbing people. The police were running away, they were community police. They were normal officers, they were running away.

“The guy with the knife was killing two people. We were shouting ‘stop, stop’ and people threw chairs at them. Police came and shot straight away.”

Another staff member from Fish said: “I saw two people in Breadhead bakery, they had blood on them, they were civilians. I never expected to see this happen here.”

Neither wanted to give their names.

Please note the source Bosco advances for his claims. Yes it's the Guardian, that far leftist rag that Bosco has assured us on numerous occasions is nothing more than pure leftist propaganda with not a skerrig of credibility, a purveyor of false lies and 'fake news' that is not to be believed on any score. A source that Bosco dismisses pre-emptorily whenever anyone else uses it to promote a viewpoint that Bosco finds not to his liking.

Yet suddenly all is changed and here we have Bosco approvingly citing the Guardian to support his post. Putting aside my surprise to see Bosco confessing to reading that 'scurrilous leftist rag', I for one am glad that he has finally seen the light and is at least reading quality journalism. That is an encouraging development because, as far as I know, this has never happened before, it is unprecedented for Bosco to approve of anything the Guardian publishes, or for him to encounter quality journalism.

Now, if only he could absorb some of the facts that the Guardian publishes .... wouldn't the world be a better place?

PS: I wonder if he realises that this now means that he can never pre-emptorily dismiss the Guardian's content from now on ...? That he can never dismiss it as a purveyor of 'fake news' and leftist lies? That he will have to take it seriously ...?

The amount of time trolls like her spend relentlessly trying to tear me down over the tiniest little things make me feel like I must be the most interesting man in the world sometimes [:D]

Stay thirsty my friend.

I wonder if anyone has ever whispered in the orange disaster's ear that the key to a successful anti-terrorist campaign is to use political strategies to alienate the terrorists from their support base ...? I don't recall Trump addressing this approach in his recent trip to the ME which he chose to lecture the Arab world rather than engage with it.

The Mango Mussolini would probably struggle to address an envelope, never mind this.

So... Why don't the Jehovah's Witnesses or the Amish go on global jihads every time they're discussed in ways that aren't perfectly PC

Dog knows, you alt left radicals maniacally rip Christians all of the time

The Witnesses were just banned in some freaking place. Indonesia?

Many Muslim countries ban all Christian activities. Some Muslims torture Christians, behead them, take their women as sex slaves etc

With Muslims, it's 'draw a cartoon, then go into hiding for the rest of your freaking life'

Because they can get a better result by suing people, mostly.

Imagine if Tony Blair or Jean Chrétien had criticized the mayor of New York the day after 9/11.

The London mayor has been bashing our president for a while now, and he is proven to be on the wrong side of history:

3 stabbers are Muslim. Is anyone surprised?

Once again, these guys were reported to the Police by the Muslim community twice and was kicked out of the mosque: Is anyone surprised? At what point do we blame the authority for incompetence?

Of the two guys named so far, one was known, one not. The security services have said the attacker known to them was thought not to be a major threat at the time he was reported to them. I think this will change but the downside is increased surveillance needed, which impacts upon personal freedom.

For your reference, community police do not have the same powers as ordinary police, for one they usually have no protection, baton, CS gas or taser. Several police officers, on and off duty run towards the attackers, despite these men wearing fake suicide bomb vests, as did several civillians. Some of these are now critically ill in hospital. So you comment that the police run away, from what you consider a source or not, is yet again total bullshit.

Compared to every leftist here, President Trump displays massive, towering intellect:

Trump urges end to political correctness in wake of London attack

I called trump a prick yesterday, for want of a better word.

Since your cowardly arse, and trumps, is incapable of grasping context, let me explain something to you. The police had this under control by 10.18 PM last night, ten minutes after it started. It dragged on longer to ensure they had dealt with the threat.

Here are the words Sadiq Khan spoke: “Londoners will see an increased police presence today and over the course of the next few days. No reason to be alarmed — one of the things the police and all of us need to do is make sure we’re as safe as we possibly can be.”

They were 11 minutes too late. Dumbass.

Hiya sock, I see you are unable to understand context as well as your other half.

You idiots had better replace your hapless crime monitor bobby boys with real paramilitary police, armed to the teeth

You've got a sizable Muslim population now, don't you know

Hey everybody...........Did you realise it's the anniversary of 'The Longest Day' today. If we had had the combined wisdom of all these armchair strategists and brainless Colonel Blimps, we would have had no need for D-Day. We would have beaten the Germans ten years before the bloody war began and saved millions of lives.

They are doing exactly that in Paris, for exactly the same reason
