This is to give equal time those that support the President and want to share their views.

Hey Peter.   Does a nice necktie = good president?   LOL   I think probably not.

I voted for him the second time around and, while I think some of his domestic decisions are totally wrong-headed, I continue to support him.

And let us not forget that when John Kerry FINALLY allowed the release of his college transcripts, GW had a higher GPA by one-tenth of a point.  There was also the fact that, to this veteran at least, 3 Purple Hearts in 4 months meant Kerry was too dumb to duck.

Funny how the Bush opponents always have real issues to talk about, and the Bush supporters keep on saying things like "Kerry must have been too dumb to duck."

How many of those "real issues" are backed by facts?   How many of those "real issues" were no problem at all when Bill Clinton said or did the exact same thing?

It is the hypocrisy and double standards of the Bush opponents that turned me into one of his supporters.  I'll be voting in November and courtesy of Howard Dean, I won't vote Democrat for dog-catcher, much less anything important.

If you read a newspaper it looks like all the real issues are backed by facts. The facts are what Duh-bya wants you to ignore.

Please.  I don't recall Clinton invading sovereign nations and lying about the reasons.

Bush is only human and does make mistakes, but he is the President of the USA and as Americans W/we should stand behind him...  Everyone forgets why W/we went to war.... Just remember 9/11... if terrorists think they can come over here and attack U/us in our own country then W/we need to take action against each and everyone of them....

Spare me that crap.  We went in based on the best assessments we had and anyone not blinded by their hate knows it.  Clinton was perfectly happy to throw cruise missiles around any time he needed to get his sexual predation of the front page (just for the record, I voted for him twice but I'm willing to be honest about what he was).  If 9/11 had happened on a Democrats watch, does anyone believe we wouldn't currently have troops dying in the middle east?

That's all they do is talk and any solutions they might, might I say, offer are just disguised rewrites of Bushes policies.

No matter what Bush does the Dems attack. For example if Bush doubled the eduction budget the dems would sya it wasn't enough. You could spend the entire budget on education and it wouldn't solve anything because the kids still can't read, write or do simple math.

That's simply not true, but it's clear that we're not going to get very high-powered political discourse in this thread.

So I'll descend to the common level and give my opinion:

Bush sucks.

US govt is bought, paid for and beholdent to the elites. no allegience to any people,  only cash.

this crowd will stop at nothing...they lecture the masses how to behave, then rob pensions and the meekest for personal gain.

equal time is a total joke,.[thye OWN the media, the lobbiests for corps own them]

if W were any type of man- he would step down today- and go home to Texas.

he confuses president with king.  he thinks he is king.

ANY prez would have served during 9-11. the typical shopper at the grocery store would have dont a good job.

many conservatives dont recognize this man. he has run amuck.

if i am to get excited about a cause -explain to me reasons why. dont just say because i said so.
i cant think if anything he has done right. i turn off the tv when he comes on. i tune out noise. it has become as unwelcome as living  under an airport runway.

no disrepect to the every day folks here. but W lost me the many many times he doesnt give me aduquate details to justify a radical policy the deviates from precedent.

many are more interested in 08. if it is even possible to regain our former glory.

This is what bugs me.  I have reached the opinion (very solidly) that the core value of the liberals is hatred.  I cannot and will not support that.

I'm amazed the critisism Kerry comes under for 4 Purple Hearts in Vietnam. They don't give Purple Hearts for falling off bar stools in Texas, or skipping flight physicals so you don't fail the drug test.
