ORIGINAL: CrappyDom Irish, Clinton made a mistake, the Republican's made it a disaster. They told Clinton and America that there was no issue more important facing America than the meaning of "is"... So that was what Republican's thought important, all while North Korea was arming, Osama was gaining strength, while Pakistan was selling nuclear weapon technology, and Saudi Arabians were planning, staffing and funding 9/11. And what was Bush focused on prior to 9/11? It sure wasn't terrorists, it was a missle defense system... CrappyDom, I hear and agree about the 'is' factor. Also, do you remember back in 1998, when Clinton gave an address to the nation about his concerns of the future of Terrorism? He discussed how he felt international terrorism would come to our shores. After the speech, the GOP voted down the bill to give money and the military more might to combat terrorism. Honesty, when I heard the speech...and saw his Bill was denied, I didn't think much about it. (EDIT: I'm really not into blaming Dems or Reps...I think they've both made a mess of things) Wished I had given it more concern. Irishbynature
