Well that would mean you expect him to cling to his faith in all matters, instead of just the ones that suit him. This would be forthrightness, honesty, sincerity... Dare I say righteousness.

(Of course each of those is also an antonym of hypocrisy)

If he discriminates, it brings into question his character in all things, but...thats just me:)

The beauty of Christianity is, God will Judge. Who knows, maybe he will burn in hell later for refusing gay people, maybe he will not. Depending on what God thinks of his actions later. And reality is, NOBODY knows what the Christian God think of Gay people. Gay people will find out after they die. If they end up in heaven or hell. I am not Christian but I am just saying, this is how Christianity works.

But point is, as a non-essential item, that they could easily get one at walmart. They just wanted his artistic skills for a cake. They shouldn't force him to bake a cake that celebrates something he does not believe in.

This is like forcing jew to bake a cake for Hitler's birthday. It's mean!

its EXTREME gubmint overeach as it establishes a religion and tramples yours, simple as that.

Look who you're talking about: facts either suit his worldview or they're obviously lies and disinformation.

if accurate it must have been a really old car.

Is there a law against driving an old car now?

everyone discriminates about everything, that is the reason religion is exempt, to allow for differing opinions, otherwise I could have cronies pass a law that you have to suck my dick every day, and if you didnt like it throw you in jail for discrimination against my dick.

you always manage to fall hook like and sinker for those gubmint catch all bullshit terms and phrases.

No government is ever going to pass a law obliging people to fellate you, but it's nice to finally know what your beef with the ZOGBig Gov is all about.
(Should you still be whining about the evils of government now that one of your girls is in charge, and not even slightly zionist or opposed to RWNJlibertarian values, btw?)

Cup holders were common in the 60's
The car would have had to have been 30 years old.
I find it strange that whatever country she lived in at the time mentioned more than
we got here when I lived within 100 miles of the incident.

Evasion doesn't answer my question: is there some reason why she shouldn't be using a car that was made in '89?

Could you tell me where to look for it?
And you are stupid if you hold a collapsible cup between your legs.

Do the cops favour Mickey D's, then?
They're always in doughnut shops in the films...

The incident happened on February 27th, 1992. The car was only 3 years old at the time.

I never said she didn't, I just said that to not have cup holders it would have had to have been
a very old car. Never said that she shouldn't have had one. Are you now saying she was driving?

Films have very little to do with reality.
That has no connection with the talk about the coffee lady which has no connection with the thread.

If it was made in 89 it had cup holders.

LadyPact -> RE: Are cakes art? (9/23/2017 2:02:02 PM)

This thread is getting dumber and dumber with every post.

The onus is not on the consumer to ensure that no conditions could exist that the coffee couldn't possibly spill. It's not about why didn't the woman use a cup holder. It's about did the business serve a liquid for consumption that was at a temperature that was dangerously hot enough to cause third degree burns. That puts the liability on the business serving the coffee.

What should really be looked at in the 'are cakes art' debate should be does a person have freedom OF religion, or in business, do they get to IMPOSE that religion on other people? Is a person's "art" more important than the concept of discrimination?
