Benji, it's like those Holy Rollers that come to people's doors, it's either THEIR way or the Highway.
You either believe what THEY want you to believe or "you're going to HELL!!!" lol

It's not even that I didn't agree with some of his rules. I just dislike being preached at or lectured.  Truly, if anyone has the position to lecture, it's the couple that has had a sucessful relationship for 35 years.

MistressDeAnnya,
I have explained this before and shall not again,  I am sure many things I have posted over the years,  Have been copied and pasted many times over, Do what you must do or what seems right for you to do. I shall be what I am and follow my own path...thank you for your opinion and for what you have found out... Take care....

So your saying that you wrote whats in the "The Masters Creed" 36 years ago???

You said things you have posted has been copied and pasted everywhere, and that you wrote all that you have there yourself... long ago.
Sounds to me like your saying your the original Author.

Of course the whole thing is stuff he copied parts of here and there, then put together. I find it hard to believe every other site that has this stuff, copied him. That is part of the reason I find it so distasteful.

Pontificate:To express opinions or judgments in a dogmatic way.

hmmm let's see, profile says 60 and 43 years, that said you'd have to start at 17--possible since you are on the West Coast, however unlikely---

in those days it was S&M not BDSM and the old world ways were what was practiced--I see a few of those in your attempt at validity, but most of them are of the newer interpretations and canned at that---if you were an author, then you would be up there with Elise, John and the rest---and the majority from that era and area would never be found--ahem pontificating in an effort to generate interest in themselves, well unless they WERE attention seekers--but I am sure that is not what you hoped to gain.

benji,

I hate to be the bearer of ill tidings, but your hell would be a place where none of those things happened to you.

Best,

Osidegirl, My post was not meant to be preaching, Nor a lecture,  But,  If thats the way you wish to take it okay. I asked long ago for opinions of my profile, Thats all, Nothing else. I got those opinions, Some good, Some very bad, End of it, So I thought, Then some others started tearing it apart and nitpicking everything. But if you think otherwise then silly girl, Don't read it...lol...

MHOO314, If your going to figure this up let me help you okay?? I actually started when I was 14 years old, That was 1960, My parents were in the life before me, Of course back then my dad would say, "It is just the way I am"..I was taught thier Morals, Ideals and Values, I was taught thier protocols,  The basic manners and the formal protocols, The ceremonies that were used back then also. I was not involved in sexual play at all...When I turned 18 years old, that was1964, I was sent to Phoenix Arizona to be mentored by Sir Brian in his Dungeon, My mother paid him a certain amount to teach me the lifestyle she could not. I stayed with Sir Brian until I was 22 years old, That was 1968.  Before I left Sir Brian I met and collared my slave, In 1968 we left and returned to California, We lived a modest but happy life together until dec. 15, 2000 when she died of pancreatic cancer, I live alone but am very active in this lifestyle. I go to a dungeon Called Threshold located in No. Hollywood,  Where I am the senior Dungeon Monitor, Teacher and I host the D's discussion group...I hope this clears things up for you...Their were so many back then not all were authors as you have described, But many have written books, That were never published. Money was hard to come by back then. Some wrote in newsletters and magazines. We all were not rich to begin with nor did we all have the means to get a book published. Of  course many did not want to draw attention to themselves or "OUT " themselves....Some didn't care some had the way or means to get things done,  Most did not... I posted in a lot of different places when the personal computer first came out...I do not know where I posted, Website names change, depending who owns them. The websites that were then, Are not now here and available...Oh well believe in what you will..I wish you happiness and health...

Sends Homestead a can of spianch. That the Op's post generates negativity is expected. No matter what you post on here your going to get that. But to Assume what you think someone is trying to say is dumb. If the message isnt clear to you ask the op to clarify it. If you have a different opinion then state it. Don't go off on a rant. That we dont all agree so what.

Here is where I call BULLSHIT.  The S&M scene in the 60's was majorly homosexual.  There was no real organized het scene then, at least not on this coast.  It wasn't till the 80's that het couples starterd to emerge, and when the BDSM acronym was coined.

This is My understanding as well Wolfspet, adding as well that according to Guy Baldwin, a noted lifestyle author whose article I read on the mythical "Old Guard". WIITWD had not even originated until a group of military guys who happen to be homosexual got out of the service (circa 40s/50s) and began practicing the art and discipline to which we now know today as BDSM.
