All this is making me hungry again.  I think I'm going to go over to the full-toilet thread and read it to stop that ...

Taco salad.  Crunched up handful of tortilla chips, refried black beans, lettuce, tomatoes, black olives, extra sharp cheddar cheese, low fat sour cream, browned turkey meat, and chipotle tabasco for a little kick.

well .. I made a nice meat sauce of my own creation .. started with browning some fresh minced garlic in EVOO . then genersously sprinkled Basil and oregano in the mixture and let it simmer over a medium heat . I thne added 3/4 lb of ground beef to brown till all was mixed nicely . I then took a can of spagehtti sauce green peppers and mushrooms and added a little more sauce and simmered over a low heat . I then cooked my pasta .. a Penne Rigate. once the pasta was cooked I drained and dam if they didn't come right on out. of course when cooking pasta I always add some EVOO to the boiling water. once the pasta was cooking I then threw the meat mixture into the sauce to finish mixing with the sauce and then poured the hot sauce over the Penne Rigate and mixed ...

I had 2 huge plates of this ..

Nutrisystem's pasta fagioli, raw bell and yellow peppers, cucumber, a slice of buttered multigrain bread, and a Nutrisystem blueberry-lemon dessert bar.  And a lot of water.

I made lasagna and it was horrid because of the sauce.  I used a can variety of sauce.  YUK!  Never again.  All that work for nothing.

i recently started the Atkin's diet with a friend of mine, not realizing how many carbs i was taking in a day until i cut them out completely.  my reward for good behaviour - Prime Rib and Shrimp off the barbie with sauteed mushrooms.  Yes, i think i can give up the carbs for a little bit longer with rewards like tonight.  Mmm
