I agree that this is true sometimes. Years ago, I read a feminist commentary on D.H. Lawrence's novel Lady Chatterly's Lover. The commentary made it out to be a misogynist tale, misquoted his text and took sentences out of context to "prove" her points. I took it upon myself to read the novel, and found it to be not even remotely misogynistic. LESSON LEARNED: go to the source and decide for one's self. It is too easy to accept another's point of view, too many fail to do the mental work to question what an 'expert' states as fact.

He has expressed feeling a certain amount of male guilt for the ill that men have done to women. Perhaps uber feminist is the wrong term.. but he is probably more of a feminist than I am seeing I think responsibility is an individual thing, and he has nothing to feel bad about. Sinergy is a Domly Sweetheart and loves animals, women, and small children...smiles.. and he teaches women to defend themselves, set boundaries, and not to be victims, and usually they are the victims of men.. he is right about that much

Nah, from what you say I wouldn't put him in the "uber room" . I think he's a good guy that perhaps lets a good heart make him feel the guilt you speak of.
