Okay, people REALLY want to talk about weight? Really? Fine, then, I have a question. Why do so many male doms criticize overweight subs they don't know, or will never meet, when they themselves don't have the willpower, or control over themselves, to lose their own weight? Do they really think that the way their sub looks reflects on them as the master, but the way they themselves look, doesn't? Do they think we don't notice when they say before meeting that they have a few pounds they can afford to lose, the few meant 30, 40, or more? Is this honest? Go on, you want to talk about weight? Then lets discuss the men for a change. ::grumble::

This thread offends me and my sensibilities. I have contacted Mods 22 through 48 and posted complaints with them. I am sucking in my gut until I finish this post, then I am going to finish my 3 Musketeers bar (it has 45% fewer calories than the average leading chocolate bar, you know).

Plainly speaking, we don't appear in the magazines in the plethora of situations you guys do.............michael jordan in whitey tighties (I actually like wts, more than boxers, and it had to do with Hash Jeans if you remember them, unisexual and no room for packages, did not Mr. Magoo in there swishing around and doing the chafe dance.) I am ok with rubenesque women, I am some tubby at my stage of life. but if I drive the quarter ton ford explorer sport, I can't have a woman sitting there maxing out the GVW. Ron

If shit like this was allowed to go on, there'd be red faces and sucked-in-guts from one end of Ameeeerica to the other DD it's a good thing you're from Canada where *all* the men look like lumberjacks and hocky players (except the eskimos, who are redeemed by their willingness to share a wife or two)

I agree Cin. Although my Dom is built like the proverbial brick well you know and He is very altheletic, I've seen soooo many that aren't and read profiles of those who aren't. Let's face it...its hard to lose weight...man or woman. What we need is encouragement, not criticism.

I've wondered about this myself. Somehow I think men view themselves differently than they view women and often women view them differently as well. A tall heavy man is "imposing" etc. Like the OP what gets to me is when a man posts a pic of himself obviously quite overweight and proceeds to declare that he is athletic and in shape and will only accept submissives who are in the best of shape. One has to wonder about the difference in what is in the pic and what they see in the mirror. The reverse is often true of women. They post a pic and seem to be of about average weight and label themselves as a BBW. One also has to wonder what they see in the mirror.

I agree! Overweight Doms need to hit the gym, walk, run, bike and push away from the table. I'm 6'0" tall and about 6 weeks ago I weighed 233 lbs. The trainer at the gym I go to did a total body workup on me and said my "Optimum weight" is "209". I went on that Nutrisystem diet for a month and lost 6 pounds without going to the gym. I'm back at the gym 3 days per week now treadmill for 40 minutes and total body workout for an hour afterwards. I'm down to "225.2" lbs now so I have about 14 more pounds to lose but I'll work out like an animal for the next month or so! (They have an electronic scale that measures to the tenth of a pound there) I really feel like I've accomplished something when I weigh myself once a week and see 3 pounds gone! And I like it when after a few weeks I really start to get my strength and stamina back! And I feel much better, my clothes fit better and I have a lot of energy when I workout regularly. Also, my posture gets better from strengthening all those muscles. Yes, Guys, don't bitch about the women if you aren't in some type of regular excercise program to keep the weight off or lose it if neccessary! Even if it's only a regular walking regimen. Now! Get down and give me "20" Fatboy!
