I absolutely love it. I get it during play and also as a reprimand. Sometimes I suspect it is coming, sometimes it is a surprise. Sometimes it is one cheek, sometimes both, sometimes several smacks in succession.

I would never slap a sub's face or a masochist's face unless they told me this

I definitely agree with you here. I enjoy it. I don't see it as humiliating or as punishment. Alternating between a caress and a slap will put me in a wonderful frame of mind like nothing else. It's never done hard enough to leave a bruise, just hard enough to remind me who is in charge.

It definitely isn't something that is for everyone. It is easily associated with domestic abuse or seen as humiliating. To each their own...

We only do it as part of humiliation/degradation scenes, and usually no more than a half-dozen times. It's usually hard enough to leave fingermarks for a few minutes afterwards, but rarely anything the next day.

i remember the first time Mistress Persephone slapped my face. i had just finished some chores and She held Her lovely hand up for me to kiss as a reward. i do like face slapping - but not so hard it stings or leaves the skin too sore. For me it is an act of contempt by my humiliator. i have not had a lot of experience with it but i think i would most like it in a partly public scenario, or when pinned down with my mistress on my chest and arms.
