Absolutely.  So did you like the Livia/Eve plotline or was it just totally a shark jump from which there was no return?

You don't mention that they have to be currently airing original shows, so I'll include cancelled or shows in syndication.

As a pop-culture junkie, what sort would I be if I said I didn't really enjoy some good tv out there?  It's a great way to unwind and enjoy stories.

Best Week Ever

Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Colbert Report

Daily Show

Entourage

Firefly

Good Eats

House

Iron Chef

Jeopardy

Project Runway

Quantum Leap

Queer as Folk

Sex and the City

West Wing

Wife Swap

Xena:  Warrior Princess

Ah, GREAT POINT, Albatross!  And, I must admit that I give your choices two thumbs up!

As for myself, I would include the following:

Combat Missions
Highlander the Series
Star Trek: The Next Generation

That's all that comes to mind for now...  Will probably post more later on.

I absolutely hate TV, but Rockstar Supernova kicks ass.  I also like Family Guy.

Yes, Family Guy kicks major ass!  Hi5!

So, who is your favorite contestant on RockStar SuperNova?  WHo do you think will make the final 3, and who do you think will win it?

I think that was after I quit watching it, but it has been a few years, so I may just be forgetting, it was getting a little odd toward the end of my watching it.

I loved Xena and The Legend of Hercules because they were so campy. I used to watch it witth my son when he was about 8 or 9, so it has been about 7 or 8 years since I have seen it.

I didn't get into Hercules because I thought it was too much camp and there wasn't the intense backstory and depth of character that you get with Xena.  I've also got an affinity for "strong female leader" stories (like Buffy, Honor Harrington, pre-Narcissus Anita Blake, Queen Elizabeth, Catherine the Great, etc).  I'm sure goreans just think these are all examples of the denigration of society over time. ;)

I did love the camp that there was in Xena though- the Ramis' and Campbell team hit the marker there again.

Once you've gone through the Livia/Eve storyline, let me know what you think.

*Rockstar SuperNova, some darn kick butt talent on that show.  And those bad boy host are eye candy.
*Medium.
*My Name Is Earl
*The Office
*Kyel XY
*Most of the CBS investigative crime shows but especially CSI
*HGTV
*PBS
*That new show with what's her name Lewy Dryfuss?
*Discovery Channel
*News Programs like Prime Time, 20/20
*Late night talk shows
*Boston Leagal, that is when I can remember its on.  I was just thinking about this show as I was reading though one of the other threads and Paris Hilton' famous little utterance, "That's Hot", came to mind   It wouldn't have been appropriate to post those words on the thread, considering the topic was quite serious. But, the boys back and forth banter, were raising my temperature in a good way.  I love witnessing a good debate on a legal matter when it's done, as it was for the most part, intelligently.

As far as watching wayyyyy too much TV, a lot of these shows I watch simultaneously, I'm a channel surfer and a big time multi-tasker, I'm on the net as I watch TV, cleaning house during chemercials, talking on the phone, reading magazines, books.   I get out as well spending  time with friends, doing taking trips, going to the beach, etc.

I gave up television for years, but this spring Pain got me hooked on 24. Vanished, which fills it's time slot looks kinda interesting and Justice looks promising too.

I used to love The Pretender, but then I missed a couple episodes and I'm really funky about watching a series in order.

I'm not entirely sure on the final three, but I have a hunch it will be Lukas, Dilana and Magni.  My favorite is Lukas and I would be willing to bet that he will win it.  It is a big plus that he is local as well (Toronto, one hour south of here).

All the CSI shows, Bones, Law and Order (and spinoffs) especially SVU (Mariska Hargitay yum!), Without A Trace, The Closer, Cold Case, NCIS, NYPD Blue (I am a crime show junkie).
Grey's Anatomy
House
Star Trek (Enterprise is being shown late night here)
Battlestar Galactica
The L Word
Oz

Master never misses The Bill (British police drama), Friday Night Football (Rugby League), The Footy Show (comedy rugby league show) and He likes the Moto GP and some of the other motor racing (but especially speedway!) Mythbusters is another "must see" for Him He watches most of the shows I have listed above except for medical shows (too much of that in r/l for Him) and science fiction.

Firefly

Heya SWEETS!  LTNS (I do hope you've been peachy).

I happen to have EVERY episode of Firefly on my DVR - as I type!  I also happen to have Serenity on DVD.  SO COME VISIT ME and we'll curl up with popcorn and watch some.

Crossing Jordan

I like that show, too.  Is it still on?

Battlestar Galactica

Only the best show on tv.  I saw that beginning sept 5th on tuesdays and thursday they are going to air episodes on scifi.com before the season starts in october.  On the 5th, however, I will be with my son at the family values tour watching Korn & Deftones.

SciFi has started showing back to back episodes of Dark Angel on Monday nights (I suspect for the summer).  Since I'd never seen it before I started watching it.  It's a pretty good show, and Jessica Alba don't make a shabby brunette at all.  ;)

Summer's almost over and we haven't gone for a ride yet (can you think of a better reason for a road trip???)
