Because a few people hold up signs at a protest then all the people that practice this religion (BTW, in case you were not aware most Muslims live in SE Asia) are all of the same stripe. That is really unfair

It's only a peaceful religion when they hide their faces while cutting a helpless bound person's head off, or laden with explosive vests and blowing themselves up near as many innocent women and children as they can get close to, or hijacking jetliners to fly into highrise buildings, or blowing up trains with innocent people aboard them.  It seems the more innocent lives thay take, it increases their reward of virgins and wheelbarrows full of gold...

When i hear people in here in the US say "Nuke em"!!!and "Turn the middle east into a sheet of glass"!!!,

I'm more and more convinced that Islam is a peaceful religion and stupidity has become an official religion here.

     Like the many versions of the Bible, the Koran makes enough leading statements that any fundamentalist extremist can use it as justification for all sorts of murderous behavior.  However, it's always been my firm conviction that if you're truly spiritually awake, and seeking the Divine - in whatever manner you perceive him/her/them/it - then you will act out of love, not hate and fear. 
     There are 1 billion Muslims in the world.  If 1% of them are fundamentalist whackos, that's 10 million - plenty to cause trouble.  Just like Christian extremists, Jewish extremists, Pagan extremists, etc., etc.  Noone called Timothy McVeigh or Charles Manson or Jim Jones or (insert your favorite local nutcase minister) "Christian Extremists", but that's what they were.  Do they represent the majority?  No, no more than the KKK represents all white people. 
      It's my personal opinion that Islam is a backward religion.  However, I'd defend anyone's right to choose it as their personal path to God if they sincerely feel in their heart that it is the path for them. I'm a Pagan - I'm accustomed to most people thinking my religion is evil, spooky, weird, cultish and immoral.  I personally don't care what they believe, so long as they respect my freedom of religion, as I respect theirs.
     Islam does have some positive aspects to it.  It requires discipline and humility.  It recognizes the teachings of Abraham, Moses, and Yeheshua Bar Yusef (the man most of you incorrectly call Jesus) and incorporates them into its beliefs.  It also has its negatives, like every other religion, including my own.
      The majority of human beings, in my experience, want to live in peace, be able to be productive in their communities, to raise and educate their children as they see fit, to be free to engage in commerce and trade in a free market system, and want to die peacefully in their sleep and go to some post-deathly plane of serenity, bliss, and union with the Divine. 
       If all 1 billion Muslims in the world were like the extremists, we'd be fucked.  Most of them are essentially no different than anyone else.
       Fear and hatred are always the enemy.........and let's not forget their sidekicks, the politicians........

There are peaceful muslims and there are ignorant and violent ones. I think the ones holding the signs in the pictures should be deported, and less concern for if anyone's feelings are hurt.

Personally, I think each and every radical muslim should be wiped off the face of the earth in the most crule and sadistic way imaginable.  And the muslims that dont like Amarica, or freedome, or liberty should be shiped off to the *#$ end of the earth and told to make it there and never return.  I have no beef with the peaceful muslims, the ones that practice there religion and harbor no ill will towards others who dont belive in there god.  There fine, and good people but it's the ones that decide going on a jihad to cleanse the world of all infidels that I have a problem with and those are the ones that need to be shot off in to space and left to die in the cold vacume of there foolishness.

You know, you really should hold up the same standards of 'peace' to the Christians and Jews.  How many deaths have been caused in the name of those 'true' faiths?  How many awful despicable acts do we see the God fearing evangelicals perpetrating in the name of Christ?

Give me a break.

Why do you need to point a finger at a mass of people whom you know nothing about.  This sort of behavior is a greater contributor to our current state of terror than any fringe group.

You want to stop terror?  Start learning.

A few years ago, I saw on TV, the act of Muslims "justifibly" cutting off someones head, in the name of Allah. So, I wanted to find out why they'd do such a thing, so I went looking for a Koran, online. The quickest way inside a persons head, is to read up on what THEY read. Having, found the book..and sat down and READ it, I can now see that Islam is the fastest growing CULT in the world. On every page, there  was the calling for blood and vengence to non-Muslims.  After I finished reading the book, it astonished me that no one in the White House bothered to read the book also, to KNOW EXACTLY what they were about to get into. You cannot win a war against the Muslims, but you CAN ISOLATE them so they don't spread. Every Muslim in North America and Europe ought to be sent back to where they came from, because they hold NO ALLEGENCE to any country. All allegence goes to Islam.
Be prepared , folks, the worst is yet to come. In OUR homelands!!

Read the Old Testament lately, andy?  Check it out, and tell me how much worse the Koran is to say.. beating a womans head in with a rock for fucking someone besides her bastard of a husband, then tell me how much worse it  than, say, killing your children for disobeying... or killing a man for an 'abomination'... like fucking your wife in the ass....

They were probably asking "Christianity, religion of peace??"
