I have always thought asking in general if Mistresses like (insert subject here) was a ridiculous thing.  Thats like asking if Women like Ice cream or if Men prefer long hair.
There are no set and fast rules as to what you like becasue you are a Mistress. If it werent for our preferences, then we would all be trying to snatch up carbon copies of the same few subs and everyone else would be SOL. My mentor and I, even though she trained me and taught me everything I know, have extremely different views on what we like and dont like. Even just between the two of us there are few thigns we can agre on in what makes a good sub, aside from occasionaly age and looks. If the Lady that trained me and I cannot have the same opinions then there is no chance that I am going to share an opinion with the whole dominant female community.
So, the only viable answer to the question would be "Some." Like every other Do mistresses like/want/need/desire... thread.

Funny how my so-called "anger" is being highlighted here...yet NO ONE is saying ANYTHING about the namecalling and personal attacks against ME.

I guess since they are "dominants" that sort of behavior is acceptable.

I'd like to throw out a thought...A man who is very manly in his work day may find it to be the ultimate submission to be dressed like a girl when he comes home.

My girl bishop doesnt feel right in womens clothes so she wears mens clothes,everything from the boxer shorts to mens shoes,I consider that to be cross dressing,as she does everything possible to make her appearance that of a man.Look at how many women wear that type of clothing(jeans,t-shirts etc) and are not considered CD's,WHY...My answer is its the feeling that comes into play when your dressed.bishop feels more manly and therefore acts that way.I'm not saying clothes make the person but it can persuade people to act a certain way.

I personally love My CD's that visit.I like to dress them Myself sometimes,put on their make-up,have them twirl for Me...its just so much fun to see them shine,being happy,comfortable and safe.

sissy..  we've spoken in emails after i approached you immedidately after i posted my response to this thread initially.

i'm just saying this.. your responses DID come off as a tad antagonistic.

now i understand why after speaking with you.

you can't expect everyone to see your side without a full understanding of the things you've been through (of course not saying i have a full understanding). and honestly, not everyone wants to hear it. i personally was curious and wanted to speak to you one on one. and i still continue to want that.

to you, i will seriously suggest this:

re-read through all the posts and take a truly objective stance at what you've said, what you've read and how you interrpreted it, and  what you hope to gain from your interaction in these forums.

i don't expect to have EVERY sub just submit to every domme, but like i told you privately, sometimes a public way to handle things isn't always the best.

i am nothing if not magnanimous, and i am quite impartial. with my slaves when i'm wrong i'm wrong. if i'm right i'm right.

i feel you took things too personally and translated it into a personal attack (in the beginning).

unlike the trend on typical fora, i read each post before i respond. i don't like making unimformed posts.

i definitely see your side.

i just also feel that it could have been stated in a different way..

the only reason me or anyone else classified your posts as angry was because you signed one of your  posts as *angry*..plus the general tone of your posts have been a tad trite angry.

with that being said, i can understand why. i just think you went about it slightly wrong. i'm not saying you owe anyone an apology, i would never stipulate that someone i don't own needs to make an apology.

just hearken back to what i said.

we all base our opinions on our past experiences.

the same opinions you hold true for dommes can hold a mirror up to you regarding the same opinions they hold of CDs.

some may dig CDs.. some may not.

and like i said before, or personally.. take it for what it is. but don't internalize it

No, it's not acceptable or particularly attractive regardless of your sexual or D/s orientation. 

Because of the greater number of male subs seeking female doms than vice versa, a female dom who has ugly manners and a bad attitude can still, regrettably, find subs willing to put up with her.  Probably not too many friends though.  And that doesn't make it acceptable.

Fair or not, a hostile attitude is probably the kiss of doom to a male sub's already narrow chances of finding a partner.

That is my hope as well. I'd hate to see this thread get yanked as so many on this subject have... to much good has come from it to let a few side trips spoil it.

I don't plan to point a finger at anyone because, well quite frankly, anyone can read through & figure out where positive contributions took place & where negative finger pointing & bickering took place. It wasn't from just one person. It wasn't just a sub, It wasn't just a CD & it wasn't just a dominant woman that took the thread off course & turned it into a personal battle of wills. There were several who hijacked this rather than take it off the board & to email where it belongs.

All I can say is enough already. We got it...can we move on now or should I start a poll as to who has the longest piss stream?


I'm still curious to hear from others about their perception of cross-dressers. I truly think that the biggest problem that many of the women who have had negative experience with this simply didn't understand the psyche of the individual they were with or they simply came to conclusions based on second hand information.

Sure... I saw where others wrote that they prefer masculine men... as much as I "get" the cross dressing men I also really appreciate the masculine men. Maybe that is why I have such trouble understanding why there is so much conflict happening here. Every person out there has to be understood as an individual. You have to learn how to read each person for how they & are & how they tick.

Maybe it is just my experience level with the various dynamics out there. I've never been shy to new experiences in anything in life & I've experimented with more scenarios than many may be able to imagine. (LOL... I think the last time I took a silly purity test I scored in the low teens & only because I haven't had sex with a non-human)

I've also come to find out that even some of the most looked up to, manly-men that are in the scene have revealed to me that they themselves enjoy a minor degree of dress up play. This isn't something they reveal to many. This type of man has also revealed to me how these things trigger them in ways that they simply are not able to share with just any woman. Often the dressing will trigger a passionate side of them, one where they are able to truly relax & let down their guard.

I also want others to know that I've had some bad experiences with a few CD submissives... mainly because their idea of submissive didn't match my idea of submissive. One in particular was a huge drama queen. I saw in him what some of the women expressed.... that over the top, me me me, dive-like mentality that would absolutely consume you if you were to engage with them. As soon as I recognized that his "neediness" would overwhelm any possibility of fitting in with my defined structure... I discontinued further contact. I was cursed, called names & was exposed to the most horrible display of a full blown temper tantrum I have ever seen from one that was older than 5 yrs of age. Was this what we should view as a typical example of a cd, sissy, gender bending, "whatever other term that fits"? I'd have to say no... this is simply the type of display one should expect from someone who has REAL issues with esteem as well as emotional stability. His desire to dress had nothing to do with it.

SO think about it ladies... those of you that have actually had a bad experience with this needy/willful type... do you think maybe they were undesirable due to instability & that the fact they were dressing really had nothing to do about it?

I've met some subs that were equally needy & willful & they never once mentioned a desire to dress. Hell I can think of several subs both male & female that have posted on the boards here over the years that have had fits & they weren't ts/tv/tg/cd. It's a personality flaw that is not indicative to being ts/tv/tg/cd.

i can say honestly, that any concept i have about cd's is from my personal life experiences.  i've never been the type to just believe anyone.  i need to know for myself.  and like najakcharmer i very much enjoy gender bending and the like.  i find cd's attractive as sexual partners, but not submissives.  and yes, it's because i have not met a submissive who was also a cd.  or vice versa.  if i came accross a great sub who was devoted to service and a serious masochist who like to be dressed in woman's clothing i would happily play along.  provided the cross dressing was on my terms and done to please me.  unfortunetly i have not met a cd/tv whos' need to serve outweighed their need to dress up.  it could verywell be the environment i play in.  hollywood/la is not known for it's profusion of unselfish people.

You make me fell embarrassed to be a gender person, the same way George Bush makes me feel embarrassed to be an American. 

You think you're sticking up for crossdressers, when you're doing the opposite.  You're perpetuating the stereo-type of crossdressers being self-centered.  You've done nothing to help our cause.  The best thing you could possibly do to help, is to learn when to remain silent.

But In summary...I think MstrssPassion said it best....and I have to say I can completely agree with what she said.

Good subs aren't so easy to find either, IMO. My definition of one is a cool, compatible, reliable, fun, devoted guy who brings energy, verve, and submission into a relationship. A guy who can read a woman and give her something she needs.

I dont know how you all can say you cant find this or that.I admit it took awhile to establish Myself,but I have no problem finding people that suit Me.
Most of them have come from CM.I have celebrated a 2 year annivesary with chrissy(annie) and 1 year with hanna and harriet.Then there are the ones I session with once every couple months again most came from here.The hardest thing has been distance....Not lack of people.Some I havent actually met yet W/we have been able to only chat and thats been over a year aswell.
Just have to have faith and patience and it will work out.
Do their names give away I like CD's?



Okay have to edit as it hasnt quite been 2 years...chrissy has been with Me since I joined..which was 11/04,thats only a couple months away so close enough for Me.
