In many of the play parties that I have been to, it is not common to see the bottom play fully naked. Typically they will play with thongs on. Since alandra and I are rarely allowed to even wear underwear, we are almost always fully naked. I can't recall ever seeing a top play naked in public.

This is a question for both tops and bottoms. When you play are you fully naked or partially clothed and is it different for private vs public play? It is inspired by Noah's twist on the word "debriefing" in another thread.

Public play always fully clothed, private fully and sometimes partially clothed (the fashion police would have me in a minute for parading about nekkid!) :)

I'm usually in a thong, but have been fully naked a time or two as well.
I play at parties and get togethers and quickly became comfortable walking
around in little to nothing and prefer to have on as little as possible for a time after
my scene is done.

I've seen one Top play fully naked, but then, it was 104 degrees and everyone was doing whatever they could to stay as cool as possible.

I haven't played at a public party yet. As a submissive, I'll probably be at least partially naked. But that will depend on who I am playing with I would imagine.

I'm a nudist, so being naked in public? It's not really that much of a 'rush' for me. :-(
I do enjoy 'playing' in public, but the nakie thing? Eh, it's just..I'm comfortable in my own skin, and to me, it's not really a taboo type deal. I understand that for most people, nudity is slightly uncomfortable, but, not me.
Clothing is where I get uncomfortable- so, generally, to me, if I am wearing some kind of sexy get up (ala: slut outfit, leather harness, chaps, catholic girl, etc, etc) THAt is more the turn on for me- because it makes my nudity a sexual thing. If that makes any sense, at all there.
For me, the outfits, reguardless of public or private, indicate a persona to be played, so..that's how I roll.

me and Master have only played public one time thus far and I was clothed at least in my panties the eniter time.. when we play private I am always naked for the play time and almost always topless from the moment I get in his apartment.

Sir is never naked in public and while He may strip in private that is His decision entirely. Dang it! As for me i am always naked in private and so far have not played in a large dungeon but when in a smaller setting am naked. When i play in the large dungeon (He has said next time we go) i will most likely be naked for play. It will depend upon what He allows at the time. Have watched Him play with others and they have always been naked so don't imagine it will be different for me. At the large dungeon i rarely see sub/slaves with clothes on if they are playing but afterwards and before they usually are wearing fetish of sometype. Tops may take a skirt off but even that is rare or atleast in the times i have been there and from conversations i have had with several members.

You and Alandra can have all of mine; they are all from Victoria's Secret. Lol, i only have to wear them under jeans otherwise i am bare bottomed all the time too.

At home i always end up nude for play; Scooter (for scening) always starts out clothed but ends up naked. For public play i cannot imagine him being nude even partially and as for me i do not know, we have yet to play in public and we've never discussed what i would wear then. Either way would not bother me, except for a thong, i hate thongs, i really do prefer naked.

Dear kyraofMists, Ladies and Gentlemen;

The "play" parties I have attended have been where sex and being nude was encouraged. However, nobody forces anybody to strip down.

That said, it has been an occassional party that has been private, where if a slave was naked they had to sit on a towel, regardless if on a chair, sofa, floor, rug and whatever their tail fluffs sat on--the towel is a nice barrier between human and fine furniture. The protocol was set ages ago, even in the swinging community, nudists and such all carry their own butt towels.

In some parties, the serving of food is more formal and the slave uniform might be wearing of some clothes, as some slaves dribble and have the need to hold things down. I for one, like slaves dressed in serving attire, like a butler or footman if it is a formal dinner. Informal, I can appreciate naked slaves serving. The problem is, some dominants play with serving slaves at the table. This is a etiquette issue with me--playing at the table is not appreciated by me as a hostess--the attention should be to the dinner and service, not how big one of my slave hangs or have some roaming hands take liberties with my servants.

As a hostess, I really feel that the spirit of the dinner or the gathering determines the slave's attire. Most informal parties have been very casual and the focus has been on the dungeon activities and not the food. I would say, it is a case by case basis. I'll mention, that the slave's owners have their own protocols as far as their slaves go. They may be guests of my home but, I respect my guests enough to allow their protocols on dressing/undressing. Behavior though, as long as it is polite, civil and positive I will not be disturbed. I want everybody to have a good time.

Lets see, I've never done any truely public play, only had small gatherings in my own home, but. The more people involved, the less I know them, the more clothing stays on for me personally (gastric bypass 330->165 leaves some extra skin even in a youngin like me) Not that I think anyone I've brought into my world would be intentionally cruel, but the less comfortable I am with them, the more likely some side look or glance or expression will ruin the fun for me.

My houseboy is kept in a thong most of the time it helps him keep his butt plug in, put in a french maid's outfit when he's misbehaved. I keep my house fairly cold, and with winter coming it's only going to get colder, so I suspect he will start to look like the "beast master" big fuzzy boots and a thong LMAO.

YES .... Almost... and only becuase at one particular venue a person is required to wear a thong at the minimum.. Otherwise you girls would be naked at every single play we do.

For myself... well I have played naked in a private home or private clubs type environments. At public venues... I have only went partially undressed... Sorry girls... the leather pants stay on *w*.

Leather pants are a good thing! I love a guy in pants and belt with no shirt on. I think that looks hot. There is just something about that slow unbuckling of the belt.

i haven't played in public, but it private it varies. Sometimes naked, sometimes in a sexy bra and thong, sometimes (often) in fetish clothes. My Master adores fetish attire. Most recently he had me in a latex catsuit - with well placed zippers.

We haven't done public play.

In private I am always naked. When Master wishes to make use of me, he is naked also, so that I can have access to serving any part of his body he may require. If he invites someone in to be entertained, he partially dresses. I, however, remain naked.
