I am married and have met someone recently and I desire to be whipped. Is there a way for me to be whipped without leaving any marks?

well basically no. Depend on what instrument is used. With cat, sure, it can be done without marks, but cane or single tail, hmmm nope. for more information you can try Max Fisch disscusion for proDommes, since they are well educated in this field, and they can help you with this. no fear there, there are some great people on that board.

How about buying the whip with which you'd like to be hit, and calling your wife out of her name? LOL...
Just kidding, but wondering why your wife isn't doing it? M

That was my exact thought. I find it disrespectful and insulting that a married man thinks it's perfectly ok to engage in this kind of behavior.

It really pisses me off. Really.

I see. I suppose cheating on your wife is the 'grown up' thing to do...

[The disagreement between aman2bwhipped and Lily has left me wondering.

I generally support the "My kink is OK, Your kink is Ok" outlook. But if someone asks in a public forum how to do something which violates a reader's personal ethics how is that person to respond?

Silence?
Public disagreement?
Something else?

I don't agree with helping a person cheat on a spouse, but what is the correct response to an honest request for information?

I would love to have this in a survey where the majority here replied...
I personally go with whatever I feel at the moment: If I feel strongly about something I will either agree or disagree publically, if I don't feel that strongly about it, but disagree, I will tend to skip it and not respond (sort of "if you don't have anything nice to say, say nothing"). M

Here's a novel approach.....

How about we all agree to express our opinions/thoughts/advice from OUR OWN points of view and attempt to be respectful of others and not try to trash them in our efforts to be heard. Realize that we are not all going to agree or even get a long sometimes. Retorts need not be disrespectful knee-jerk reactionary comments intended to degrade another's comments or opinions either.

Bottom line here.....we are each responsible for our own actions and reactions both real and virtual time. And if you put it out here in virtual time expect any number of reactions.....but realize that those reactions belong to a real person and they are the only ones to own their emotions/opinions/thoughts. Can't change them....but we all can change our reactions to them.

*steps off my soap box*

Sorry yall...couldn't resist.

In response to the original question.

Marks are dependent on 3 things:

1. What your being whipped with,
2. The skill and expertise of the person doing the whipping.
3. Your own skin, bruiseing tendencies.. etc.

To address #1. There are soft whipping implements and hard, Stingy and thuddy floggers as well. Start with soft thuding folggers. They are less likely to leave a mark.

To address #2. A skilled Domme can whip you to a frenzy without leaving marks. Granted it is more work for them, but if they care about you they won't object to much. It is important that the skin be warmed up.. to a light pinking gradually, and that blows be delivered to specific areas. I have found that some some people can take beating on their upper back, and others better on their bottom. It truly is an individual thing.

To Address #3 . Some people find their skin is more responsive to healing if beating occurs earlier in the day and are followed by a cardio workout. Ice afterwards can help, and well as just taking vitamins.. etc..

To address the recent pettiness: It never ceases to amaze me how soon people in the scene forget that we all started someplace, and we all asked dumb questions, or had to hide our interests at some point to someone. To ask a intelligent question about why someone believes or does what they do, is fine, but to trash them for not sharing your views only serves to show your own bias.

Ms. Eden

Dear Panthergoddess,

We're you replying to Chris/onceburned or me? Because I didn't ask the question or ask for suggestions on how "I" should reply.

You're approach is not novel to me...
I always state my opinion as just that, and when possible, am considerate of other's feelings (unless being considerate of theirs discounts mine).

If you're suggesting I've had reactions that are knee jerk or disrespectful, it's unfortunate, and your perception/reaction, with which there's nothing I can (wish to) do. I can avoid your posts if that is what you'd prefer.

I've written things for which I've gotten replies I've not liked, but I take it like a grown up; if I don't want to know what people "here" think, I won't post it here. M
