Status: offline 		i know many ppl drop a few years on sites and i totally understand. while i feel no need to do this, im actually proud of my age, i understand that its a way to get more 'hits', or attention, and that unfortunately, we are judged by age also. many profiles state what they seek partners in this and that age range..
the other day, we had a lady join us, and after my Master left, she admitted to me she was 7yrs older than what was she stated on her profile. at first it didnt do anything to me. but as the day went on, and im thinking of the 3-some we had that morning, (hard to concentrate at the job) it kept coming back to my head.. i was sort of disappointed in her.. i found it dishonest  and even sneeky..and sort of turned off. i also found 7yrs a bit too much.
im not one that judges by age, but i do value.. honesty?...
just curious to know how others would feel if after playing with a partner, he or she would admit to you they are much older than the profile.

Status: offline 		If they had to lie about their age, I would wonder what else they would think was appropriate to lie about...sure sign of things to come. Personally, I don't care about someone's age, but I would expect to at least be given valid information. Myself....I'm still upright, healthy and all the original equipment parts work fine...I'd be more inclined to brag about my age...lol.

Status: offline 		Did you have a good time?  Who brought her in? Did she LOOK her age?   Was age an issue for you at the time? If you had known would it have made any difference?  There are really worse "lies" than a woman's vanity.. as in..being UNDER aged or something.  Would you have been this upset?

Status: offline 		Some people are just vain.  They have real mental issues with admitting their age.  I wouldn't take it personally.  They probably are consistent in telling all that false age.  Hell...I'm 84.

Status: offline 		If I meet someone online and found out they lied about their age, it would put a quick damper on anything else.

If I meet someone offline, it would take a few months probably before that question even came up, and the same result would occur if they lied.

yes, i had a good time. Master and i both met her on the internet and communicated with her more than Him, online, on the phone, to get to know each other more.
did she look her age? she looked older than 43 but i didnt think of it much, but when she mentionned her real age, she looked ok for it.
if i had known, it would have made no difference. only because i dont care about age. my Master is very much older than me. We seek partners in any age range. age, race or even size doesnt matter to us. i do value honesty though.
im not that upset over it. just a bit shocked at the numbers.. like i said, i know many lie about their age, i just found too many yrs were docked off..
personally, i think she should have been honest with us beforehand. i just feel it was sneaky, especially after my Master left.
im just a slave, i have no say to my Master's decisions.. but if was a Dom seeking a sub, and met her and played with her and afterwards was admitted she was 7yrs older, i would be greatly disappointed.
and i agree with Scooter, if she lied about that, what else is there to come..
but thanks anyways for your opinions, its exactly what i wanted, opinions..

Status: offline 		i am very comfortable with my age and would never lie about it. If somone was uncomfortable with it that is their issue not mine. If someone lied about their age (yes it is a little white lie) it would make me wonder what other little white lies/lies they have/might tell me..................total honesty is important to me.

I am pretty much the same. I am proud of my age and of what I have accomplished in life so far.
I have found that it's actually very easy to get a feel for if someone is lying about such a small thing. Little things that I can talk about that they hesitate over answering; always a good indication that they have no idea what they are discussing.

Agree totally. Why lie about it?. If they lie about this chances are they are lying about other things as well.

Status: offline 		i dont feel, from what i know about her, she is a constant liar, i sort of even understand.. well im trying anyways.. just trying to keep an open mind.. it just ticked me off that i was told that after we played. i found it sneaky. made me realize also why she hardly asked any questions about us and was very eager to play with us, and serve my Master desperately. but then again, i dont think any woman at 50 should be eager to play with just anyone. i wont be like that anyways. and as a proper sub, i did feel she should have been more curious about our practices, and found out more about us. but then again, she is a newbie.  i sort of found the whole situation weird. and funny after she admitted me her real age, i got a few answers in my head why she was like that.  Like i said, im open and believe that everyone is different and has different approaches. and its not my decision who we play with either. However, it did make a dent in my feelings about her, and if she does come around again, i wont trust her 100%..

In all seriousness, age has never been an issue for me, lying is. If I found that someone lied about their age how I would feel and handle it would depend upon the individual. I feel I am an excellent judge of character and would already have gotten an idea if they were full of shit or wether it was just a vanity weakness. I have met quite a few female submissives that are very insecure and I can imagine them stretching the truth about age, just based upon the society in which we live that places so much important on youth.

Status: offline 		I don't care who knows, I am 51 and still going strong.  Most days that is.  Now in the winter months my knees feel a lot older and my fingers tend to protest somewhat but other than that I don't do to awfully bad. 

I would move better in a warmer climate but oh well I like the seasons.  Love my hills and trees, I can't live without my hills.

Status: offline 		IMO it's going to come out eventually so why lie about it to begin with? I guess I wouldn't put myself in a position where I out myself as a liar the way this woman did and I'd have a hard time understanding why anyone would. To me it's an indicator of either vanity or insecurity first and foremost and those are two qualities I'd rather not have in a partner. Secondly, while it may not be a huge lie it would make me wonder if there were other things they were lieing about as well.

I know someone who used to list her age ast 37 when she was really 44. Her reasoning was that most men search for women up to 39 years of age and so this increased her chances of coming up in people's searches. She further justified it with "Everyone tells me I don't look a day over 35 anyway" and I had to hold back a big belly laugh. Who in their right mind tells a middle aged woman she looks her age? Nobody who enjoy sunshine and breathing. She looks good for her age but she does look like a middle aged woman and doesn't pass for 37. It's this kind of thing that I dislike in a partner because to me it speaks of character (or lack thereof).

Status: offline 		<----Soon to be 55...to my way of thinking the aging process beats the hell out of the alternative..not ready for the old dirt nap just yet...i have never lied about my age...it would go against my life belief of being honest and honorable...us old gals tend to have old fashioned ways i guess..

I agree that it is the skewed truth that is really the issue.  Yes, some of us look much younger than our true age.  But, how people treat others on age, weight and other judgmental issues within the scene, often creates the weaker to become untruthful.
 
Although, we (in a general sense) can understand it; the fact is that as we (in a general sense) dislike false disclosures.  It means that they didn't trust us (in a general sense) enough to be honest with us; and that sometimes hurts more than the lie that was needed to be told.
It is the need to be accepted.
 
But, something poked out and missed so far, which is important to touch upon, based on the Original Poster's first post--that was, the woman had motive, opportunity to submit to a Master.  This was selfish act--hunter -prey.  Once the Master left; the quary caught--then the intent and motive was unmasked.
 
In this lifestyle, as it is anywhere else in life; you will have people with motive/intent to be dishonest to get what they will.  It isn't strictly a woman's issue but a people issue.  The sad part, is the need to lie.
