Status: offline 		Even though I could get away with lying about my age, I don't. Although there have been times when I let a few months go by before updating a profile following a birthday. And there may be some older profiles of me that still exist somewhere out there that I've lazily abandoned altogether.  

I value honesty, but at the same time, recognize that people often tend to make hasty judgments towards age that don't always make a lot of sense.

For example, why should someone who has made a gargantuan effort towards maintaining their body and health be judged and discarded based solely on their chronological age if they look many years younger?

I'm not trying to justify dishonesty, but in situations like this, I would be more forgiving towards a woman who shaved a few years off her profile age.

Ok...under your own premise here then you are a liar.
You are wearing makeup in your picture.  That would be a lie.
That's not how you naturally look. 
In fact, if you brush your teeth, wear perfume, curl your hair, etc.
that all becomes illusions.  Makes you somehow not what you really look like.
Do you wear high heels?  Then you aren't representing your true height.  Thus a lie.
I'm not directing this at you, it just seems a bit extreme to compare trying to look good with lies within a relationship.  That's like apples to oranges.  Taking liberties with your age is not really that far off from just trying to look good.  It doesn't mean that one will go and lie about everything in a realtionship. 
Simply...some people just have issues with getting older for whatever reason.

I color my hair because I don't like grey. 
I wear an underwire bra because I like how it makes me feel and look.
That doesn't make me a liar.

I used to have jet black hair and now it's a nice warm auburn.

There is something about the OP's angst that leaves me to think there is something more.. Like perhaps she was closer in age to her Master than she and they hit it off.. perhaps a bit more than she expected?  I don't know.....just guessing and thinking out loud.

Thankyou!!! This just cracked me up and got beer all over my screen!

On topic....I really don't think wearing an underwire bra is lying, if the guy is dumb enough not to know what a bra can do then he's obvioulsy got some problems that have kept women out of his life!  I've always worn bras...never did go for the braless look, way too much bouncing!  However, quickly approaching 48, taking care of myself and not having children has kept my girls perky enough to still pass the pencil test.

Status: offline 		I haven't lied about my age since I was old enough to get what I want without lying.  (And yes, before everyone has a spastic fit, I'm aware it wasn't cool to lie.  It was more than twenty years ago, I was already a D-cup, I was young dumb and full of come, and I wasn't caught by anyone but my mother, who quite properly read me the riot act for deceiving men about my age and didn't blame either of the two guys involved even the teensiest bit.)

well, its exactly what i felt. her eagerness and willingness made me wonder a lot before meeting. she was ready to submit to my Master without knowing much about Him and willing to be my sister slut, etc etc..
ive found out with age (age is a good thing isnt it..) that my instincts always proved me right. i found it strange that this lady who didnt know us, was ready and willing to serve us (which turned me off cos im sub, but i didnt say anything). it was too easy..
she didnt have to lie about her age, she looks good at her age, but more than that, she looked good period. you can look good at 20 or 50. you can look like shit at 20 or 50...
to me what is more important, is honesty. just felt she should have told us before she got her fantasy..
if a woman puts make-up, dies her hair and takes care of her appearance, its not a lie, its enhancement.

uh... no..
like i said, we dont give a hoot about age. if my Master wanted an older sub, He would get one. and no, they didnt hit it off. we all had a good time. which is another reason why i think one shouldnt lie about age.
and in fact, she was very turned on by me, to the point that i felt my Master was left out. but thats me, im always concerned about my Master's pleasure and dont care about mine. He enjoyed watching us very much.
so you missed the point completely Lotus, but thanks for yr opinion.

Status: offline 		    Oh brother. This is too much. I "lie" about my age. Absolutely, depending on the circumstances. Youve got to go by why, the person is asking your age. I just knocked off two years from my 47 yesterday when this women goes, "tell me, how old are you?" And I had to think fast becuase I knew she was trying to get at something. I picked a nice mid number (45) and in the end I read her right.

    She wanted to tell me that two years ago, her 42 yr old daughter died and that I reminded her of her. She said, oh yes, that makes you about the same age. And it was EXACTLY what she wanted to hear. So in no way shape or form will I apologize for erasing two years when needed. Maybe I'll add two years. I did that all the time when age 16. It didnt seem like that big a deal to lie about it then. It was actually kind of exciting. And down the line, maybe I'd erase seven years. I cant say. Lets see what I look like at 50/60/70/80 is all I can say.

Ive also got a boyfriend thats 8 years younger than I. I hardly think Im racing the years along. Believe me, Ive got it slowed down to a crawl by now, days hours and minutes. So Im NOT 9 years older, Im 8 1/2 or 8 and 8 months 8 days 2 hours. lololololololol

Soooo, we tell people what we think they want to hear. We tell ourselevs what we need to hear. Ever think of that? Isnt it possible Rubyleu, that you were putting out vibes too? And your play partener told you what she thought you wanted to hear? Its a possibility.You say,  " im not one that judges by age. But you also say,  "i also found 7yrs a bit too much."  You're whole post is about making a judgement call based on lying about age. Why not admit it?

May I ask your age? That plays a part in your reaction too. The younger you are, the older she'll seem. And the less likely you'll be to forgive her, her sins. Sucks to be female in America in many many ways Ive discovered. I find both men and women lie about thier ages in both directions..

what i tried to say is that as much as i dislike lying, especially about age, im trying to keep an open mind and understanding. you lie about your age all the time? ever ask yourself why? why not be honest and tell the truth? why mislead people? do you like to get lied to? it seems its become quite the habit for you. should you be trusted..?
