I'm feeling psychic at the moment.
I predict that Benji and Ron are both going to have sad members.

I've been reading the forums since 2004, and I have to say that back then you had the same silly questions and rant posts that you have now. Maybe today is less appealing to read the forums, because there's a larger number of newbies making those questions or ranting about people not reading the profiles.

It's always been there. The senior members stop participating not because the forums got less interesting, but because they have already answered the questions, and they have already posted their opinions. (Plus, I see them time to time, just not logged in all day and everyday).

...oh you never know.....Ron may wear a particulary fetching pair of trousers to hump, and Benji may have forgotten his glasses........

To a point, I agree with candystripper. This board has always been pretty aggressive, and that's fine ... but lately, there is an element here that is out to trash people ... not the points of view that people have or the words they say, but the actual people behind the words.

Yup.

They attack the messenger instead of the message.

..and i thought people in BDSM were open minded.

Some sure ain't.

The people on these boards are human beings. Just like the human beings you see all around you in everyday life. Some will be total assholes and some will be polite and considerate. You will have a mixture of the entire spectrum from intelligent calm and rational to border line criminally insane. What on earth makes you think, that because all of us here share one small facet of our daily lives that we are going to be somehow, special, different, treat one another differently than the rude-jerk-that-drives-the-piece-of-shit-toyota-pickup-that-cut-me-off-and-almost made-me-run-into-a-semi, this morning?

I don't really have anything to offer on the topic of the thread, but I did notice the comment about being catty.  So...

I think that might be a touch premature, as you cut off that line before the end.  She said "Will probably remain "candystripper" though, as my Dom and Master Friends were displeased when i shucked it for "pinkee"."   I'm guessing she meant to say "my Dom Friends and Master Friends," not "my Dom."  We would have had a much grander announcement had the latter been the case.

The internet allows quit timid weak men grow balls of steal and magically gives them12 inch cocks.

The internet allows those mousy women who sit at home who have NEVER been kissed to turn into sensual creatures who will rip the eyes out of anyone who ventures into their territory.

Many say things within forums such as this that they would NEVER dare say to someone face to face. Some behave in ways they would NEVER dare behave beyond this digital haven.

These are simply part of this reality we all choose to take part in. Like anything else in life we must sift through the shit to find the diamond.

My question is this, unless your new to online forums is this really new to you? If it's not what is the point of bitching about it? If it bothers people that much then my advice is stay out of forums and probably offline period.

I come back today and WHAM! I get pissed on by benji here, straight from jump street.

Maybe, just maybe, you got pissed on because you 'came back' in the guise of a submiisive, under a fake profile, and stated that you found it "a LOT of fun creeping about the back stairs as a subbie on here!"
I'm not certain, but I suspect that pretending to be somebody other than yourself in order to post nasty or insulting things and stir up trouble would make one not only a sneak and a bitch as posited by this thread's OP, but a shit-disturber and a liar to boot.
If I were you I would count myself lucky you were only pissed on.

Okay, i just got home from work and read all the posts.

Am i reading all this right?  On the one hand, we have candystripper, who has  several times changed names here, told people that....and perhaps started some 'whiney' threads.  Okay, i could see where that could be annoying to those who are on here often.

But then we have TexasMaam, who has actually changed identity to a fem sub, where nobody was aware....

i really need to know which we are saying would be the least admirable here before i could comment further.

As i can see it now, i would take a constant whiner to a sneak.  At least one is open about who/what they are which shows more character to me than someone who sneaks around pretending to be someone they are not.

So am i understanding this right?

DG

I believe they may be all one in the same but I could be wrong. I just like to laugh at the drama not understand it.
