I know Aileen, I know...(my apologies to Mavis)!  Seriously, I hope she's not ticked at me (if so, Mavis, please e-mail me and I'll change it. You had it first).
Thanks for the welcome. I missed you guys.

You will trade that for a paddle soon enough.

It is a shame that the avatar library hasn't grown since they shut down people using their own.

copied from the board:

If your avatar is missing... - 10/22/2005 6:54:00 PM
Out of necessity we have removed some user posted avatars and are forced to restrict the addition of new ones due the inability to moderate the content of the avatars before they are posted. If you have a photo on Collarme it will default as your forum avatar or you can select an avatar from one of the avatar libraries we provide. If you are an artist who would like to contribute more than 10 avatars of your own creation for our use please feel free to contact me on the site. If you had an avatar that you posted which you feel should not have been removed and is not sexually explicit in any way, or you have a primary photo on your Collarme profile and it does not appear as your forum avatar please send me a note and I will look into it.

Thank you,
ModOne

I've always been curious about this & wonder if they are still accepting submissions? These things are easy enough to create & in fact there are hundreds of sites out there that offer them for free.

littlesarbonn -> RE: Can avatars be deceptive advertising? (12/4/2006 1:37:17 PM)

That's why I use the generic picture that I use normally. I don't want anyone to suspect for an instant that I really look like Fabio and Brad Pitt rolled into one. I do this to protect everyone else. [:)]

Donnalee -> RE: Can avatars be deceptive advertising? (12/4/2006 1:43:18 PM)

Littlesarbonn..... you've got it all wrong...Fabio and Brad Pitt look like YOU!

I look just like my avatar....when I'm cartoon/airbrush world.  lol

NakedOnMyChain -> RE: Can avatars be deceptive advertising? (12/4/2006 2:09:36 PM)

You made my day, hon'.  Thanks.  [:)]  And I love your new pic, too!

Umm...yada, yada, something pertaining to the thread.  Amen.  (Now it's not thread hijacking.)

RiotGirl -> RE: Can avatars be deceptive advertising? (12/4/2006 2:25:54 PM)

mstrjx - oddly the foot always gives me pause.  I initially think "woman" and i remember seeing some where that you arent a woman.. but a man.... and sometimes i cant remember where i saw you as a man.... and then i get confused = (  Now i just wonder why you have a foot.  Shoe fetish?  Like the Stilleto?  But really, a stilleto with a platform??

RiotGirl -> RE: Can avatars be deceptive advertising? (12/4/2006 2:27:22 PM)

now you got me kasha......... i always thought that was you....

fer shame

TopinPa -> RE: Can avatars be deceptive advertising? (12/4/2006 2:29:29 PM)

I don’t really see an aviator pic as deceptive advertising because I don’t see the pic as advertising at all; what with all the cartoons and such.  It is however misleading sometimes if someone uses someone else’s pic; that’s a very misleading thing to do.

RiotGirl -> RE: Can avatars be deceptive advertising? (12/4/2006 2:29:55 PM)

LaM we all know you arent false advertising... you resemble an elephant and have an elephant sized penis...... which is why you are always looking for nekkid pics and trying to get head.  Women are afraid of elephant size penis's........  Imagine!  You poking a girl with a thing that size and "oops" it pops out her mouth.  No wonder you are so sex starved!

Aileen68 -> RE: Can avatars be deceptive advertising? (12/4/2006 2:30:24 PM)

kyraofMists -> RE: Can avatars be deceptive advertising? (12/4/2006 3:56:18 PM)

I don't see avatars.  I have my profile set up to only see the profile picture from the other side.  I find I like looking at the real people when reading their posts.
