In theory, Exhibitionism is a huge turn in for me. When I think about it, or read about it being done in short stories, etc., I just know I'd love it. I am a fan of Pony Play, too (but have very, very little actual experience w/that, but have done extensive reading). I've only done Exhibitionistic stuff once, and it was very "low-level" stuff (it was a movie theater, and dark, and it was almost deserted in the theater, so I felt less "threatened"), but it was still thrilling.

I am wondering if some consider this 'kink" somewhat invasive of other people's (non-Bdsmers') privacy, (being as they are non-consensual participants) - and if so, how does one get around that? Only let one's submissive (or slave) "be exposed" to persons that are known to also be "into" Exhibitionism?

I am not trying to start a flame-war, or argument about what's "right" or "wrong" in practice, but am curious as to how people reconcile this possibility, and also I am just plain curious about Exhibitionsim. Because I think it's really Hot.

I am just wondering how others feel about this, and what they've done as far as scenes in which they've incorporated it into their other bdsm activity. Because I know I'd appreciate it - but am not sure how other people go about actively practicing it.

These are truly non-judgmental comments. I am just plain curious about Exhibitionsim, and how it's practiced.

Well as far as pure exhibitionism I've had sex in my parked car, movies, park, beach, lagoon, adult movie set, backyard, some random car hood in front of a house, and probably a few others I don't remember. Not once did someone see who wasn't supposed to. I've also done some bondage and toy play (with a partner) in the back of my car and by a river. Again, nobody even came close to seeing us. Every time it was erotic due to the chance but really... you have eyes and ears (usually ONE of us had them available).

When I had a long term sub, we were returning from a long trip to a play party in another state.. This was when 55 MPH was strickly enforced in Iowa. Very few cars passed us and we passed very few cars. We were traveling on I-80.
She was being a brat. I opened her top and stuck a Pearl Rabbit in her between her legs. I would occasionally play with her breasts. After that she didn't care. She got so into it, that she placed her feet on the dash.

More recently, I have played with a different sub who considers exhibitionism as part of her desires. I have on occassionly driven thru the Interstate rest areas where the truckers are parked. Again, they aren't expecting anything and I doubt she was seen, but it is a mind blowing thought for her.

PLEASE BEAR IN MIND: This was all discussed well in advance. SSC always applies. She has the right to refuse the exhibitionism as far as I am concerned, but she has yet to do so.

One thing I've noticed, especially in cars, is NOBODY'S LOOKING AT YOU. Think of the last time you drove past a car and checked to see if some girl happened to be masturbating in it? Most people are so wrapped up in their own heads you could probably be hanging your body out the sunroof with relative safety...

i've discovered that i'm quite an exhibitionist. the latest evidence, this weekend we went to a munch at a private room of a restaurant. i receive a beautiful bra/top made out of rhinestones as a gift. i got a real thrill out of taking off my sweater, putting it on, and modelling it. one of the people at our table told me the waiter should tip me. as far as sex goes....the list is long...at a public library, in the water about 10 yards from a crowded beach, on a plane, at the movies, driving on the hwy, in the woods at a local park, i could go on but you get the idea.

I think, to our credit, we often go too far in our quest for consensuality. We try hard not to expose people to our kink without their consent, but that isn't the way our society works nowadays. The world is full of people who are all too ready to expose us to their kinks without our consent.

Of course, that doesn't make our brand of exhibitionism right. What I do with my sub is make it look like accidental or unconscious exposure. I also make sure she doesn't show anything more than the nursing mommies or the babes at the beach show.

This is a point worth considering. I hate being privvy to other people's loud cell phone conversations. I do think mothers should be able to nurse in public (for heaven's sake, it just strikes me as so prudish to be offended by that).

I worry less about what I consider "little exhibitionistic acts" than things like full nudity in a place where lots of people would be, not only due to my own "embarassment factor" but also, it could get one arrested, and I really wouldn't want to "traumatize" someone (like a child or even a teen-ager, anyone) who wasn't prepared to see it (or maybe wanted to see it).

Before I got married, I went to a local state park where the housing is composed of Indian tepees. I and my date rented one (for a few hours), got nekkid, and were having fun (and were also kind of noisy) - and then realized there was a Girl Scout troop taking a hike and field trip, and they were outside of our tee-pee.

We quieted down right away, hoping they wouldn't come into our tee-pee (there were no "locks" on the tee-pees, and no way to make sure someone didn't do that). Fortunately, it didn't happen. It was kind of thrilling, in a way.

I go as far as I'm getting good energy from it. And since the energy of OTHERS is what makes up the good energy I'm getting from it, it all depends on their reactions.

Probably the most blantant thing I do in vanilla public on a semi-regular basis other than wearing scandalous clothes is have my partner put on and take off shoes for me at a shoe store and parade around him.

This brings back old memories.
Back in 1980 I was headed out to the Finger Lakes region of N.Y. to attend one of my C.G. buddy's wedding.
I had this long time friend with me also named Susan (She used to call herself "Suzie the Floozy" albeit in good fun!) She was always a hoot to be around!
We were on the N.Y. State Throughway and she said "Hey! Let's have some fun with the truckers!"
She put her face in my lap and had her feet hanging out the passenger side window as we started passing a big 18 wheeler truck.
She said; "Ok, let me know when we get right beside him and I'll start bobbing my head up and down!"
She did and I looked in my rearview mirror and could see the driver on his radio laughing.
Then she said; "ok, start swerving a bit!"
I did and as we went up a big hill I could see the truck behind us, black smoke comming out of his stacks trying to keep up with us.
We did this to 3 or 4 truckers and were laughing our asses off at their reactions!
I noticed that in the opposite lanes the truckers who were headed in the opposite direction were looking over at us too!

i was an exhibitionist even before i knew what BDSM was. So for me it wasnt a "kink" or "invading on others" Generally everyone loved it as well.

Sitting with a friend outside their work at 6 am and the garbage truck came driving through the parking lot. Wala - My shirt came off and i stood up and waved....

at 15 my best friend and i were partying with some Navy boys and went back to their hotel to go "swimming" Pool was closed.. but we convinced a security gaurd to open it up.. aye and he SAT right their watching us in the pool/hot tub. I'm sure it was all video taped too and it WAS quite nice as we were at the "Top" and could look out over the city. First time i had ever gotten laid in a hot tub with a group of people around me and erm...

When i was younger, i always randomly flashed ppl - here there..

I always had the MOST fun - driving down 495 or 95 in dc/va metro area at about 4 am - getting my best guy friend to drive the car.. stripping butt nekkid in the passenger seat... He would pull up to some unsuspecting motorist and even out with the other car. We always picked men.... And i would WALA pop out the moon roof at them.

i have never seen a man drop his jaw so hard in utter amazement in my life........

About a year ago - i went out with my Dom and generally my boyfriends did "not" appreciate my enthusiam to flash ppl. My Dom hasnt a problem with it. We went out - he allowed me to get drunk - but the end of the night in Orlando.. i was amazingly surrounded by ppl having pictures taken of me and erm.. flashing them. My Dom stood gaurd making sure nothing got out of hand.

Which if you really think about it - its amazing i can get so shy. hmmmmm maybe its the audience and i know - generally speaking you cant go wrong flashing men. (then again, i wasnt shy as a teenager either.. its something i seem to be coming down with)

Oh, I agree. But then there was that Janet Jackson Super Bowl thing. She showed less boob than I have seen sometimes in restaurants and shopping malls.

I know, it's ironic. Of course it was a different circumstance (she wasn't nursing a baby, she was "entertaining" people. Breasts are sexy, and some people don't seem to want them exposed in that context in the US (and probably some other places, too). They also feed babies (I think some people forget that).

I was in Paris, France last Summer and saw the Moulin-Rouge stage show. All of the dancers were topless and to the French, it was no big deal, it was business-as-usual.

There was a woman at our table during the show, who was all upset at the "nudity" (I could only think to myself: Didn't she read the brochure in the lobby? Or see the marquee outside? It's obvious the show has nothing but topless dancers in it). Her husband was too much "into " the show to want to leave, though (ha!)

Thanks Susan for starting this thread! I've been wondering about this myself. My current companion is *very* into exhibitionism. I enjoy it but worry about overdoing it. I don't want to make others uncomfortable. For example, when in a restaurant how far is too far? I usually am uncomfortable when I observe a couple that is all over each other ~ course that could have been just envy ~ as I wasn't seeing anyone at the time...
