ORIGINAL: Nosathro greetings I have been here for some time and recently I am experience as others here a lack of common politeness. Okay, someone post a profile and gets responses. Now, I can understand that if a message is vuglar and rude you do not want to reply. However, if a message is a simple introduction of a person who is responding to your profile and you are not interested, don't you think a simple "Thank you but No Thank you" reply would be approiate? I wish you well Nosathro I think if the email is polite, it's nice to respond and say something like "Im looking for someone more local" or "Im looking for someone closer to my own age, but good luck to you" etc. Yeah. I think it's nice and have found that people will even write back and say "thanks, and good luck to you too". I get this on aol alot too. If I go into a chatroom, and someone sends me an email, I will decline politely if Im not interested. Most people appreciate that. On the other hand, if the letter opens with "Looking for a master, slut?" I will not respond.
