all of the above.

Let me rephrase the question.

What do you think is the source of your stress, anxiety, and depression?

i know some here will probably flame me for this, but i'm gonna post it anyway

i have been so under stress lately that i can't even think straight. so many things going on lately that my anxiety is very high. nothing seems to help. i just want to scream at the top of my lungs.

anyone else here ever get this way?

Michael, I remember one of your posts from a while ago and this is a different topic but a similar underlying theme.

What in life is worth this stress overload? What is so important that you can't say "fuck it, I'll have a beer and forget about it" or "not worth it, couldn't give a fuck about it"?

I have not read the rest of the responses to this thread, so if what I am saying is repeating someone else, just disregard it... but here is a site that gives some nutritional information about depression. I changed my life around by quiting smoking, exercising, and now eating no sugar.

Here is a site for holistic ways to treat depression, and there are many more you can look up on google

This alone should be cause for celebration. I find myself in agreement with NG

Seriously Michael, it is down to you and you alone to give yourself that kick up the ass. Go out and cut the grass (yes i know its only Jan but does that really matter?) pull weeds out the driveway, hire a hooker, pull stupid faces in the mirror, get the worst hangover of your life, just do anything at all that gives a feeling of having accomplished something no matter how trivial it may seem in the great scheme of things.

while i appreciate everyone's input and emails, i must re-state that i do not have transportation of my own and getting around town is almost impossible for me.

Michael, take a short walk down the street and back, and lengthen the time.  If you don't have transport, that means you probably don't "go" to a job.  Alot of my work involves the internet, but I find if I stay cooped inside for days working, I have trouble.  If you never leave your house, that is a big part of the problem probably.  Take short walks, but get outside of your 4 walls and your yard, you don't need transport for that.

Edited to add:  I am not trying to open up a can of worms, and her health problems may be part of your stress, but can you talk to your girlfriend?  Is she aware of all this?

FR-  people are still responding to this with sincerity / trying to help.
It bothers me to think that it is most likey for nothing.

Perhaps it is for nothing.  But if what just one person on here says does some good (even if it's not for Michael), then it will all be worth it, won't it?
