subsidiz,

well we all have out own opinion of course, but trust me, I am not a wnaa be Dominant, and I have seen it work with much success all to often.

Perhaps if you were ever put in a zone during a cyber interaction, you might look at it differently.

Everytime I see this posted, I have to put my two cents in. I agree with Noah, and the others that have no problems with Cyber Relationships.  This group is so full of "ANTI CYBERS", and just cringe at the word. Just because it doesn't do anything for them, they keep continuing to bash it, and call everyone else silly or whatever. Some people like Butt Plugs, other don't. Are they called Sillly? No, just us that like Cyber.

I met MADAM through Cyber, and then was able to have Live Sessions, and cyber in between. With Mistress Haley, is was only Cyber, though we did get to meet once. She had FUN with it, as I did. I did use my Web Cam, because she liked it that way, or if I had done anything she wanted me to do other times, I sent her a Digital Photo.

Now I am seeking ANOTHER CYBER MISTRESS, because MOST of the Dommes in Southern New Jersey, are only asking for MONEY ! I DO NOT PAY for this. I do this because it pleases me, and most of all, PLEASES A MISTRESS ! If she isn't having any fun and enjoyment (and me a little too) why bother at all.

As for Cyber Sex, when did SEX have to be involved with B&D? How often is this a requirement for RL Sessions? I have some with MADAM in RL, that didn't involved anything sexual for me. It didn't matter then, as it doesn't matter now.

So if you don't like it, then DON'T DO IT ! Just let us be, and let us enjoy what we do have. Some of us aren't as lucky as you OTHERS, and have to take what we can get. And who knows, maybe it would or won't lead to RL Sessions.

Cyber and LOVING EVERY Minute of it, BalletBob

michael,

I think most prefer the real thing, but can it not be a stepping stone?

simplyangelic1 -> RE: To Cyber or Not (1/10/2007 10:27:32 PM)

Ok here is my two cents.  I've tried cybering and I will say this, there are far more comfortable ways to get off then to hike my leg up on a computer desk and go at it.  For me cybering is like cotton candy, tastes good while you are eating it, but not very filling.

As for involving S&M into cybering, I can see all sorts of landmines there.  Someone already pointed them out so I won't repeat it here.  Just not a good idea in my opinion.

But like everything else in this lifestyle, you should keep an open mind about cybering until you try it.  Might be for you, might not.

Not always.  Some it is just a way to avoid the real thing.  You have to remember some just want to "get off" while the little wife sleeps.  They are in no position to go r/t or otherwise.  Notice I did say some so those of you who do go from cyber to real don't hang me for my statement.

heather,

to experience subdrop, it follows that a subzone was reached.

Thats a good thing as many cannot get there.

simplyangelic1 -> RE: To Cyber or Not (1/11/2007 9:48:51 PM)

Regarding S & M play...Nope not really.  You can't know how a flogger feels till it actually touches your skin.  So short of buying one yourself and learning how to use it.

In a sexual sense.  Do what works for you.  You can't be against something you haven't tried.  If someone is curious, I would say try it for yourself and see what you think.  If you are just masturbating, you can't really hurt yourself...unless you do it too much or have long nails. [:D] As I said before you may or may not like it.  I do think it is important to listen for the bullshit meter to find out if the person you are cybering with is a waste of your time or not.  Not that it's the most reliable thing but it's the best we got.

We all know that this site and others like it have online only Doms and subs.  They will never go real time for one reason or another.  We also know that these online Doms and subs don't always tell you that they are online only.  This is a waste of time for someone who is looking for a real time relationship.  And unfortunately I don't see how anything can be done about it except move on when you encounter them.

I fully agrre. Cyber is the best way to set limits and likings. So when meet, knows exactly what to do and that inspires confidence in slave's mind

CelticPrince -> RE: To Cyber or Not (1/12/2007 2:35:24 PM)

HPH,

entering into a cyber relationship is always a matter of choice, if your not interested, simply say no.

Those that do, either with or without real time in the future have the best of both worlds.

Cyber is not just a typing excercise if the mind is capable, it is a journey into the path.

CelticPrince -> RE: To Cyber or Not (1/13/2007 4:58:42 PM)

Robert,

Hooray, well said, and I think that you have hit a special nail on the head as to why some cyber relatioships do not work, the initial mistruths are hard to fess up to and thus meetings are put off or denied.

Ad it is a problem on both sides of the slash, I am what I am and described in my profile, but I know many feel I shade the truth simply because I do not post a pic.

D/s used to be a very honest and noble path that has taken a negative turn lately.

Cyber is a great way to meet people and have good connections.

Cyber is a horrible way to form realistic expectations for an offline relationship.

Agree!

CelticPrince -> RE: To Cyber or Not (1/13/2007 6:42:31 PM)

dawn,

don't knock it till you have tried it,

I do not refer to a typing excercise but a juorney into subspace.
