~Quicky~ Generally it is “Oh emperor god, the benevolent creator, ooh thou art so magnificent… we are really impressed here… thou hand is which gives me life, the reason for living… etc… etc…” However as a rule of thumb, whatever etiquette his/her “owner” dictates is appropriate. If I don’t own you Loki is fine. Being addressed as Master is a very personal thing, and implies some level of ownership. Sir is a title of respect, Flame proofing on, which should be earned. So again I say Loki is fine until my actions define me as “Sir” and that respect is earned. As for me extending the respect of Sir or Ma’am to a fellow Dom/me, I do it without thought. It is a given title of respect until they show me otherwise. Of course familiarity, hopefully, moves us to a first name basis, I anticipate the reverse with a sub/slave. Moving from the familiar name, Loki, to a formal term of respect, Sir. Of course I notoriously look at the world backwards so YMMV. Loki
