Webster's actually lists two plurals (plural plurals?) one being penes and the other being penises.

I think "penes" is the correct Latin plural. But I haven't seen anyone wearing a toga and talking about penises at the same time - at least not grammatically.

Great topic! My friends and I have always debated this question. In the end we always decided penises sounded the best... Interesting note: vagina means "sheath" in Latin, as in sheath for a sword [:D] that always made me laugh ~FP

I voted for penii but then I also prefer to say campii rather than the correct campuses. My personal quirk, lol. Timothy P.S. My girl, being the proper lady she is, uses thingies, lol. Dunno why her innate bashfulness doesn't protect me from being called "penis wrinkle" when I make her snippy, lol.
