i see a lot here, girls wrestling with the ideas of subdrop - while after a scene w/o cuddling yea i guess i can understand but if your drop goes on and on honey, you're just looking to sugar coat your depression with pretty words that make you feel more like a slave and less like a human with emotional needs - like anyone else.

I think there is truth in your words Mixie, and a nice helping of moxie too.

I dont know I think that sub drop can trigger a greater depression in people perhaps more prone to depression.. For me it only takes something like a case of sub drop to trigger my bipoler to go into over drive.

i disagree with much of what you say.  my former master never gave aftercare.  After a 'scene', he would leave and within 10-24 hours i became tearful, paranoid (over him), did things out of character for me.  my 'reaction' would cause many many arguments.  i did not know there was a term for what i was feeling until i got here.  A little bit of aftercare would have gone miles.

sorry, but i am not talking just after a scene. of course ending w/o after care would cause a drop in mood.

what i am trying to say is when it is prolonged, into days or weeks, then you have more of a problem than just dropping & trying to pin it on e.g. a lack of snuggles after a scene weeks ago, is ridiculous & you are simply denying the problem at hand . be it your neglectful Dom - which after multiple incidents w.o aftercare - not surprising you have gone beyond sub drop and you are depressed OR some other appifany --it doesnt make you less servile.

edit to add stuff
