Well as odd as I may appear I am rather methodical. It would be a very unusual instance for that to slip by me... mainly because I do not have casual sex. That said, if I had slept with "her"... by that time I would already have deep feelings for "her"... and that would make the scenario redundant.

MsVeruca -> RE: honesty about sexual orientation (2/20/2007 1:10:33 PM)

I think that the problem here is that dbg is thinking of sexuality in black and white terms. You are gay, bi, or straight...when, in fact, you can be a variety of shades of anything in between gay and straight. I suggest you rent "Kinsey" as a start and then consider how many different flavors of ice cream that there are in order to begin to conceive of how many levels of sexuality that there are. You can't expect someone to tell you about the time they jacked off with their best friend in junior high and then deem them "bisexual" because of it. Life (and sexuality) has too many shades of gray...

mnottertail -> RE: honesty about sexual orientation (2/20/2007 1:11:59 PM)

Well, ok---

But are we going to be absolutely venal and catholic about this whole affair....

So, do I have to poll my now dead father and see how many times he poked me in the head while I was afloat in utero?  My twin brother and I have never discussed this (and by god if we do you will be getting the bills for therapy) and I don't remember, but assume we squirmed face to crotch in the womb?  Now from there, what if I contacted parts unbnownst to me as an infant, is there some kinda ollie ollie in free or do I just take a couple automatic hickies for that?  Assume I inserted a stick of gum in my yap without washing properly, is that a 1/2 point suck or what?  What if I looked at a guys ass and thought----- hmmm - I'd like to see that with some tits on it and get rid of the floppy thing?  What if I found girls with Mick Jaggers lipset attractive?

Get me some mainstream stuff in here right now..........

What is the mainstream definition of engaging?
What is the mainstream definition of sexual?
What is the mainstream definition of is?

Is there penance for this, if you sucked a dick more than twice that can be overcome with two garbage bags over your phallus?  if you have ever licked a pussy more than once you need to go to kentucky for a tongue job?

Give us the complete physical and mental lowdown on your being since birth, and goddammit!!!!!!!! if you're grandfather gave a little head to buy firewood in the westend of london, we need to know---because it is primae facia mainstream fact that this is clearly coloring the shape of future events.

So in order to practice what you preach; when are you planning to update your profile?  Don't you think your prospective victims should know before becoming involved with you that you're a closed-minded, judgemental, rigid, bitter homophobe with trust issues the size of Asia?

After all, honesty is honesty.  Be sure and let us know when you get that taken care of.

Okay stef~ I really hate to be the one to turn the clue-by-four on you... but your propensity for understatements is getting old.

And if you have pissed longer than 2 minutes you should specify that in your profile.

Just out of curiosity, how would you feel if you became involved with a woman and had no idea until after you slept with her that she used to be a man? What if she used the excuse that you didn't specifically ask when you wondered why she never told you? Would you feel like you had been deceived?

No, I wouldn't... but then, I'm open-minded about people. Whatever that woman used to be, she is what she is now (and yes, the use of "she" was very deliberate). Then again, I don't believe in sleeping with someone that I haven't already gotten to know and felt an attraction to. If my partner's gender throughout their life was such an issue to me, however, I'd have made certain to ask at some point before sleeping with her.

Not like this response matters at all, because you'll ignore it just like you've ignored the dozens of other posts on this board that you can't use to further your agenda.

defiantbadgirl -> RE: honesty about sexual orientation (2/20/2007 1:14:06 PM)

No, people who engage in unprotected sex (oral or intercourse) with multiple casual partners are the ones who spread disease. Polygamists are not monogamous, but they are faithful within the group. They can have unprotected sex without spreading disease.

That is NOT what you posted in reply to me on another forum. You stated that anyone that was not strictly monogamous on were in a faithful poly relationship spread disease. If you have now changed your mind then I accept your apology for your totally inaccurate statement in the previous thread.

Valyraen -> RE: honesty about sexual orientation (2/20/2007 1:18:11 PM)

Even with the main topic having shifted to cannibalism, does anyone else feel like this thread really needs to get locked down?

Oh, and while I'm thinking about it, does anyone else want a nibble? I've got some heart-shaped steaks to celebrate Valentine's Day... they've only been in the freezer for about a week, so they should still be good...

So... would it be a violation of the TOS if I quoted these two posts simply for the sake of quoting them?

By the way, Stef, you and TopCat have become my new heroes in this thread for coming out and saying what the rest of us are thinking.

wait a minute---- I have seen this exact same post, exact same wording in about 8 different threads, and I try avoid you like the plague, but every so often I get sucked in..............

Now, I have reviewed your profile in detail, and so we are certain please state for the assembled group exactly how many times and with whom:

You have sucked cock
You have licked ass
You have took it in the ass
You have smelled your fingers after playing with yourself
You have ate boogers
You have accidentally shit your pants.
You have swallowed shit either accidentally or on purpose?
(Mikes gonna wanna know these things too)

Be a mainstream beacon to us all Olympia----
Show us your truth and beauty---
This may set off an outpouring of honesty the likes of which the world has never seen and shall never see again,
Maybe the chinese will repent from thier communism, Mike will leave his trailer, and Aids will disappear from the planet.

You be the first cocksucker to cast a stone at yourself.

Locking the thread would be counter productive. This thread is actually helping, I know this sounds sick and twisted, others even though it isn't helping the OP.

Valyraen -> RE: honesty about sexual orientation (2/20/2007 1:23:46 PM)

Y'know, Troll, you've got a point. People deserve to know the best ways to cook people, the mechanics of how watching musicals can affect your sexuality, and how to properly mock someone who's not willing to get even the simplest of concepts through her skull.

*Edited to add* Hooray! My first pair of handcuffs!

defiantbadgirl -> RE: honesty about sexual orientation (2/20/2007 1:24:37 PM)

The point I was trying to make in the other thread is that many think protected sex doesn't include protected oral sex. They think protected intercourse alone prevents the spread of disease when having casual sex with multiple partners. We both know otherwise.

You are not alone there. Stef you get top marks for the most sensible post of this thread.

Yanno, buddy----somedays you can't make a dime....
All day you been thinking what others have been saying all along.........

Celeste43 -> RE: honesty about sexual orientation (2/20/2007 1:27:35 PM)

Actually I'm with the op. I don't have sex with men who have had male/male sex. I'm not in the least homophobic. I've spend the last 40 years of my life summering on one of Fire Island's gay communities.

But I have known too many men to claim they were bi and then discover they actually only have sex with women, they don't have relationships with them. I've seen women strung along by these men, sometimes for years. I've had men try to pick me up one night, and then been snubbed by them the next when they were in total drag. (Besides he could walk on the boardwalk in heels while I never could, that in itself meant we weren't compatible.)

And of course, I've buried too many dear friends from AIDS.

However the onus is not on the men to volunteer who they had sex with one drunk night seven years ago. This is important to the op therefore it is her responsibility to ask about it.

Well, I was kinda talking about defiant... but if you want to open yourself up as a target for ridicule and mockery, I'm always willing to extend my services.
