ORIGINAL: scottjk I think his point was something along the lines of what I noticed. One example I can provide off the top of my head is one sub insisted that her potential dom had to have a flat-top haircut, or it was a deal breaker. Normally, I would have shrugged, but when she stated an age range that was in the 20s, I was a bit... amused. :) Especially considering that in my area, a flat-top is as rare as hen's teeth. :) A sub with critera is just fine with me. It sorts the intelligent from the vacuous. :) Of course, I gravitate toward the intelligent. ;) I have seen 50 year old doms that want 18 year old subs that are between 5 foot 1 and five foot 2, red headed and under 100 lbs... seriously I did see one such profile.. so there are people with unreasonable expectations.. they will grow old and bitter from lonliness.. who cares? Find the one that is looking for someone like you and who cares about the rest, right? I see nothing wrong in being demanding while one looks for someone to give their power to. If submission is something of value, then only those who merit it should have it, and one can only find someone of merit if one demands it. I am glad I approached it the way I did, because my Daddy is a catch, and he would not have been attracted had I been willing to be submissive to him right off the bat..
