ORIGINAL: lighthearted grace is something I've always strived for, it's been something I've been trying to attain for the better part of my adult life. I've found that the calmness and serenity I've attained as a result of exploring my submission has helped me greatly in that department. the by-product is, I find myself a bit more conscious of my own physical state, and as a result more able to achieve that elegance you mention. mind you, I have been at times been labeled a major klutz, but the key for me has been the body consciousness. and also, I think it's one of those things that can be learned by faking it in the beginning. you know, being sure to bend at the knees every time you bend over to pick something up, set things down gently, leave the heavy lifting to the men-folk ... (bold italics are mine…b) What a lovely thought! I was thinking the same thing; that just being calm can bring grace. I am not graceful, either; but my body consciousness is bad and my effort to quickly please keep me going to fast. When I slow down, I am a bit more graceful. Perhaps it is all about doing things deliberately…and being IN THE MOMENT. Speaking of grace, what a lovely post, behindmirrors. Thank you. Swtrayn, the two books I imagine Michael was speaking of are by Miss Abernathy: “Miss Abernathy's Concise Slave Training Manual” and “Training With Miss Abernathy: A Workbook for Erotic Slaves and Their Owners”. She also wrote “Erotic Slavehood: A Miss Abernathy Omnibus” by Christina Abernathy and Laura (FWD) Antoniou. I believe most were published by Greenery Press, as Michael noted…but are also available at Amazon (used). I didn’t know they were combining the two books to one…though I can say I did find her books interesting reading. bearlee
