i can't vote in the primaries because i'm registered independent, and i wouldn't vote in democratic or republican primaries even if i could because i'm generally dissatisfied with the candidates of those parties.

Senators Clinton and Obama are about even in my view. I'll be giving Al Gore a look. I don't care for John Edwards. I like Senator Biden, but he seems to have that "hate the establishment" tag that is all the rage. I doubt he will get much play. On the Republican side, only Senator McCain and Representative Paul would have a chance at my vote. I campaigned for Ron Paul in the past. I think it most likely that these two will share a ticket, if by an odd chance, Senator McCain can get past his own party's primary (which I doubt).

Giuliani will ride the 9/11 coattails. I fear with McCain, we will miss a good opportunity. I don't see him making another bid in the future. I think Obama will edge out Clinton; though it's a close call. Clinton would lose for the Dems, Obama will probably win. The Republicans will have a stronger showing than our recent elections suggest; the Democratic congress is backlash against Bush, pure and simple; we didn't need analysts to tell us that. The US people want out of Iraq. The Republicans, hearing Bush's "Stay the Course" are already diving for liferafts. Stephan

Do not vote for Guliani, he said "freedom is not about doing what you want, it is" he said something about ceding your liberties to the government. If he got elected I can't tell you what I would do. There are only two I would ever consider supporting and they are Ron Paul and Tom Tancredo. If either of them gets a snowball's chance in hell I will vote. Otherwise I will stay home. Speaking of stayting home, have you noticed the poor voter turnout in this country, ever wonder why ? I can tell you, there is nobody to vote for. When voter turnout is this poor in some countries, the election is invalidated and repeated. And McCain is an Israel firster as well, as are all of them endorsed by either party. They are starting WW3 sure as shit, and if the status quo does not change, don't bother saving up college money for your kids. The only ones I see who put the US first are Paul and Tancredo. I am not (at this time) saying anything about Israel, I don't care if a person puts the best interests of Iceland, Ireland or Indonesia ahead of US interests, but they sure as hell should not be President of the US. T

You can vote in primary elections if you're an Independant, you just have to "declare" which party when you go to vote. Caitlyn, the more I learn about Ron Paul, Congressman from Texas, the more impressed with him I am! He has a LOT of good "common sense" ideas and he's also an M.D. so that takes care of the "smarts" dept! I made a contribution to his campaign the other week and that's something I don't often do so it just shows how impressed with him I am! I hope more people would take the time to learn about him! I also like another Texan by the name of Lou Dobbs (CNN Newscaster) who's not running yet but there are a LOT of people out here who would love to have him run for President! And, I like Tom Tancredo. Tom Tancredo, Ron Paul and Lou Dobbs have what is so lacking in Washington these days, Common Sense! Maybe that's why the Republican Party isn't helping Tancredo or Paul. As for the two "big box" partys I'm just not interested in the SOS. (Same old shit) Hillary Clinton's paranoia about "the VAST right wing conspiracy" has metasticised again. (In NEW HAMPSHIRE of all places!) (LOLOL) Sat Night Live did a skit about Hillary, someone asked her character if she's going to be running for President; she screams, "I've been running for President since I was five years old!!!!" Senator Aba Daba from Illinois is just another black yuppie who I suspect would join forces with Gin Blossum Kennedy to turn the U.S. into a luxury rest home for the third world. We'd be paying for and giving benefits to illegal aliens that WE couldn't get! (If he votes "for" Cocktail Kennedy's upcomming "amnesty" bill I'm right!) Ditto for McCain and Guiliani! Shouldn't Guliani be running as a Democrat? I think he's what they call a "RINO" Republican in name only. Oh, and Senator Joe Biden *IS* "The Establishment"

Ron Paul is a good man. He has silly notions like only spending money you actually have, and not allowing large corporation to exist on the taxpayer's nickel. He is tough on immigration, but realistic, in that he would allow provisions where large corporations that needed import labor, could assist with citizenship requirements. These corporations would have to be financialy liable for these people, including paying minimum wage, and providing heath insurance. This passes the acid test of making sure that these are people that are taking jobs that nobody wants, rather than just allowing corporation to find slave labor (no offense to slaves intended). This is the absolute best option in my view. We could basically close the border, without bankrupting parts of the country, and costing American citizens their jobs. (I'm mentioning immigration, because I know this is a hot button issue with you.) I'm worried that he is a bit of a hard-ass on too many issues. His views work well in Houston, but may not play well up north.

Caitlyn, lol immigration is a hot button issue for everyone. We're going to be getting rid of a senator in this state in 2008 because he voted for that Kennedy/ McCain "amnesty" bill. (Lindsey Graham) What do you think about Lou Dobbs and Tom Tancredo?

On immegration, I dont think we will win that issue. the train cant be stopped. maybe it will amount to a 2 tiered citizenship=- sorta like how they bust unions....
