A Quote to Ponder -seriously NO disrespect of bashing ANYONE here- Just though it might be nice to add this in :-)

I once heard a Master say;
"A submissive says; " I am submissive, not a doormat." A slave says; " I am a slave, be that the floor under the doormat, whatever Master wants, I am slave."

you are what you empower them to let you be.

Nice pics...lucky dom

Submissives are doormats...if an Owner says lay down I need to wipe my feet off...yer a doormat. This "I'm not a doormat" shit is for the birds...commit to your place or get off the pot.

My comment was a joking jab. I do not believe submissives are objectified as doormats.

I've been looking through the profiles, and I have found that there are ALOT of subs who not only don't know their place, but think that it's ok for them to be openly hostile. I've decided to put this up as a Dom who is thinking about you subs and don't want to see you get yourself into trouble.
Listen, Doms and Dommes alike have earned the title of Sir, usually through intensive training and study. You'll find that a Dom who hasn't will be looked down upon and you will be shown that he is not worthy even of the title Dom. For that reason, upon first speaking to ANY Dom, call them "Sir" or "Madam". This is not something beneath you. You're a sub! You're supposed to enjoy service and humility.
I heard one sub say "I will not be a doormat!". Well, believe it or not, that's sort of stupid. Thats like saying, "I love sunny days, so I better hide from the sun under this rock". What is the problem with people like this? They aren't subs! They are just girls who want a real man. There's no problem with that, but at least let us know what you REALLY want by not calling yourself a slave. Most of the girls like this I've seen quallify only as a "Switch".
Any other Masters who want to comment or expand feel free.

wow, this is a pretty self rightous claim ......

paddle? paddle? i think this is my paddle post! hehehehe

Darias -> RE: subs who don't know their place (3/29/2007 7:14:45 AM)

sweetstorm -> RE: subs who don't know their place (3/29/2007 7:24:40 AM)

The opening lines of my profile:

WARNING:
If this is your theory: "My submissive will be taught that it is her duty to please Me, and My right to be pleased."
My response: "F *** YOU."

I either CHOOSE to serve or I do not serve.
It is not a duty, it is a choice that gives me pleasure.

*******

You, BOY,  Please don't bother talking to me. I'm not a doormat. I'll kick your scrawny little a** if you want to think you can dominate me simply because I have chosen to be a submissive. I submit to people I respect and adore. I call no one "Master" except by my own choice.

Trampler -> RE: subs who don't know their place (3/29/2007 7:24:56 AM)

*shakes her head sadly* I cannot believe this ridiculous thread is still going on.

sweetstorm -> RE: subs who don't know their place (3/29/2007 7:34:41 AM)

I couldn't help but respond.

It was that or vomit.

Darias -> RE: subs who don't know their place (3/29/2007 7:37:17 AM)

lol ... your missing the point ... the reason for responding wasnt to give him attention . it was to avoid having to do something more productive elsewhere

bearincuffs -> RE: subs who don't know their place (3/29/2007 7:42:07 AM)

And a morbid curiosity which has us comimg back to his thread again and again and again!

SweetSarijane -> RE: subs who don't know their place (3/29/2007 7:46:01 AM)

*laughing* dead on, bear.

Darias -> RE: subs who don't know their place (3/29/2007 7:49:18 AM)

Sari is here hide the cabana boys

oh shoot are they still being a human lightening rod ? * runs to check *

i just enjoy the responses not only to the OP but to the replys and the hijackings that have come afterwards

SweetSarijane -> RE: subs who don't know their place (3/29/2007 7:51:23 AM)

It has been pretty entertaining lol.

bearincuffs -> RE: subs who don't know their place (3/29/2007 7:53:51 AM)

Then I guess the thread hijacking is the primary indication of a sub not knowing their place and thus, needs to be taught a serious lesson??!!! (being sarcastic here)

bearincuffs -> RE: subs who don't know their place (3/29/2007 8:02:38 AM)

While I'm at it, Sari, I just read your last posting on the ship and absolutely love it!!!!

BoiJen -> RE: subs who don't know their place (3/29/2007 8:02:40 AM)

That sounds like legal charges of assualt to me. I'm a servant and I truely do believe when serving you do what you'er told. Just becuase you're a servant doesn't mean you're everyone's servant but when you're owned you reflect upon the person who owns you. And acting like an idiot doesn't really show the best part of yourself.

Yet even when one is a servant/sub/slave/boi/boy who is owned, they still are an individual person also. Being owned does not negate who that person is AS a person unto themself.
How one will percieve another being an idiot is not always accurate, the character of every person has many faces. A person should be percieved by their overall qualities and not by a single facet of their personality.
Keep in mind, this is entirely my own thoughts  [:)]
