ORIGINAL: GeekyGirl My manners aren't that great in real life, and they sure as heck aren't great online. Sorry, got better things to do than type "no thank you" 5,000,909,9999, 233, 333 times. i think that is what the bulk mail function is for... However, i do find it troubling that manners aren't important to you and some others here...that humanity is not worth the time of day to so many and that the cocentric circles that we inhabit have no value~ GeekyGirl, i would kindly say to you - i don't think this is something i would brag about if i were you... I'm not here to brag, I'm here to be honest. Bulk mail filters by age and location, not by general stupidity. I have many friends who do not meet my dating criteria....I wouldn't want to filter out my platonic messages. To an extent manners are important. I say "no ma'am" and "yes sir" to my elders in real life, and I say "please" and "thank you." Replying to meaningless anonymous assholes with a polite "no ty" is really an enormous waste of time. See, I'm all about being honest. My friends think I'm blunt and truthful...my enemies think I'm a rude bitch. Oh well , I wouldn't want to hang out with overly tactful people to begin with as I've also seen excessive tack as a type of weakness. It's better to hurt someone's feelings and be honest than to lie to them. I'm not going to pretend to be polite to someone when I'm pissed off at them for emailing me with some sort of nonsense and wasting my time.
