The update that I promised is not good ...

the boy is so busy that he feels it's unfair to try and have any kind of relationship - so he basically broke it off tonight.  happy fucking birthday to me, huh?  I suppose at least he did it the day before my birthday so that he didn't ruin my actual birthday.

I am sorry it did not work out, it is not easy obtaining a male wife.
I certainly don't have one either.

Thanks - My day got much better after I went to work last night - I worked with my favorite coworker and she brought comfort food with her for me lol.

honestly, he will probably be really upset with himself if he remembers that my birthday is the 5th.  I'm sure it didn't even occur to him because of all the stress he's under (and yes, I do believe that he's that stressed and busy - his work has been on the news even down here - and it's bad). 

Thanks for the birthday wishes - I'm currently playing with my birthday present from Holly and rob (a candle maker) and waiting until it's time to go out for my birthday dinner with them :-)

That's too bad.

Everyone is busy it seems. Sometimes we have to adjust our expectations to meet reality.

I hope you get some closure because the immediate above reads a bit uncertain -- relationship or not or is it the DS part?

Tammy, I'm not sure exactly what you mean - but what he meant was that he doesn't even have time for friendships right now. 

I'm really missing talking to him, but we've already gotten some e-mails from other guys.  I don't really feel like talking to anyone right now, though, because besides missing the other boy, now my mouth hurts (dental surgery sucks big time).  I just want to go to bed and sleep until it quits hurting lol

No time for friendships?

Is that even a healthy life to live? Is that even living?

I'm so sorry that he feels that way for your sake, SweetDommes. It hurts like hell when someone says they can't make time for us. The cynic in me has more to say but you needn't read that.

Just take care of yourself in the ways that you need to.

I don't think it's healthy, but it's what he's chosen. 

I choose to spend time with Holly and rob, with my family, making candles for Christmas presents, and plotting against one of our friends *evil laugh*  We just need another boy to help us with our plotting.

I'm sorry things didn't work out for you. It seems as it's as hard for a domme to find a man to assume the role of the wife, as it is for a man who wants to be treated as the wife to find a domme. I guess we all waste alot of time, and we're really lucky if we can find a mate that suits both the domme and the sub. Lord knows I've looked hard enough. Maybe my age has something to do with it, but I don't think that would be a problem for you.I hope you find your wife, and I also hope that at some point, I find my domme.

I would like to gently disagree that any time spent in pursuit of a dream is "wasted".  I see it as an investment in my personal quest. 

If one were running for election, and lost, was their time wasted?  I think not.  There would be unusual experiences had, interesting people met, and unique knowledge and insights gained.

It has become a cliche to say "it's not the destination; it's the journey".  In this journey, I've met interesting people, had unusual experiences, and gained new knowledge and insights.  I'll bet you have, too.  I'm a far different and better person than when I began the journey.  I hope you feel the same.

Ok ... this fell all the way to page 4 - where is everyone?

I'm working on moving on from the boy we were talking to ... there are a few boys out there who seem to be pretty good and I've been chatting with them.  I need to check and see how they feel about male wives, but I also need to figure out what Holly is up to.  Apparently she wants to be the one staying home now *shrugs* whatever she wants.  Maybe I can find one to work from home so they can both be home ....

If I convert to Islam, or become a Mormon, can I have a harem of male wives?  I think Islam would allow me at least four, and Mormonism pretty much says "as many as I can afford."  I'll just scribble out the parts about what genitalia the "husbands" and "wives" have to have.

Hi everyone and Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year to all!

Tammyjo: Eeck! I need to send you a check. If you glance at my journal for the last few weeks, you'll see I was 'under the weather' in a big way, and dropped a few balls while trying to recover. I'll be sending you a check in the next couple of days, ok?

I've backed off of all the emailing, meeting etc for a little while due to my recent health issues.

Thanks to my friends and subs in the cm community for being here for me through this trying time. You've made my life more fun and I've been able to rest up and be served at the same time. I am feeling better and more tests have been ordered.
