Status: offline 		There isn't any valid reason for morality anymore, so why not - right? Things will only get worse, too because Jesus has left the building. We had a bus driver here in Idaho make a bomb threat so he could take the day off, but he got caught. At least we still have laws, I suppose. And the threat of going to jail. That may slow it down some, but anyone dumb enough to think they're smart enough to get away with whatever will still do it.

No reason not to.

Um. Im sorry, but I fail to see how Jesus' current location has anything to do with this person's actions.
I went to a catholic school in the 70s. We had bomb threats at least once a year. Usually it was in the Spring when the weather was nice, so we didnt really mind so much. We had no idea, as kids, all the resources spent sniffing out a fake bomb. The buzz on the street was that it was the high schoolers who had attended our school who did it...they always seemed to have the day off and and just happen to strole by at the same time we were lining up outside.

Anyway, my point is that Jesus was most definitely in the building.

Why do people assume that Jesus Christ is the center of all morality in the world? Plenty of people who aren't Christians play well with others, share their crayons and don't make bomb threats. And plenty of people who profess to "know the Lord" light crosses on fire, bomb buildings and much much worse.

Will you please tell me what he looks like? Since you definitely know he was in the building I am assuming you actually saw him. Is he a black Jesus, a Jewish semitic Jesus, or the blonde haired blue eyed Jesus? I always was curious about that

Status: offline 		Popularity. Peer pressure. Bullies. Bad school lunches. Show and tell. Won't be the last time a gun is brought to school. Like bell bottoms, the gun fad will pass and reappear after awhile. More kids have cell phones in class. Check those at the door with the weapons, please.

Responsible gun ownership [read: knows how to care for 'n use em] ought be encouraged.

Posting "gun free zone" seems more wishful thinking  and foolish proclaiming of "easy victims here".

Not to sound racist, sexist, or anything but, meh.. a bunch of short, heavy black guys in their 20's to 30's were driving around in this "ghettofied" car.  Windows half down.  Playing gun shots.  Not as part of music, or anything.  It was just a small machine gun fire sound, contineously looped with no trace of music, lyric, rhythem, or song.  One of them yelled, "This is how a driveby is done, niggers!"

There hasn't been an actual driveby yet.  I was a bit taken back by their audacity to get their liscense plate number.  In hinde's sight, I would've and called the police to report it as a disturbance of peace.

LOL. They wanted to scare people. Were there other white folk around?

I remember when it was a popular pastime for a carful of black folk to drive past white college students and shout out " get the gun! Get the gun!". After one or two times, I learned to look straight at them and laugh. They laughed right back and drove off, lol

Here's some more reasons ....

 When mass killers meet armed resistance


It took place at a university in Virginia. A student with a grudge, an immigrant, pulled a gun and went on a shooting spree. It wasn’t Virginia Tech at all. It was the Appalachian School of Law in Grundy, not far away. You can easily drive from the one school to the other, just take a trip down Route 460 through Tazewell.

Many students heard the shots. Two who did were Mikael Gross and Tracy Bridges. Mikael was outside the school having just returned to campus from lunch when he heard the shots. Tracy was inside attending class. Both immediately ran to their cars. Each had a handgun locked in the vehicle.

Bridges pulled a .357 Magnum pistol and he later said he was prepared to shoot to kill if necessary. He and Gross both approached Odighizuwa at the same time from different directions. Both were pointing their weapons at him. Bridges yelled for Odighizuwa to drop his weapon. When the shooter realized they had the drop on him he threw his weapon down. A third student, unarmed, Ted Besen, approached the killer and was physically attacked.

But Odighizuwa was now disarmed. The three students were able to restrain him and held him for the police. Odighizuwa is now in prison for the murders he committed. His killing spree ended when he faced two students with weapons. There would be no further victims that day, thanks to armed resistance.

Luke Woodham was a troubled teen. He felt no one really liked him. In 1997 he murdered his mother and put on a trench coat. He filled the pockets with ammunition and took a handgun to the Pearl High School in Pearl, Mississippi. In rapid succession killed two students and wounded seven others.

What Woodham hadn’t planned for was the actions of Assistant Principal Joel Myrick. Myrick heard the gun shots. He couldn’t have a handgun in the school. But he did keep one locked in his vehicle in the parking lot. He ran outside and retrieved the gun.

As Myrick headed back toward the school Woodham was in his vehicle headed for his next intended target. Myrick aimed his gun at the shooter. The teen crashed his car when he saw the gun. Myrick approached the car and held a gun to the killer who surrendered immediately. There would be no further victims that day, thanks to armed resistance.

Many people probably forgot about the shooting in Edinboro, Pennsylvania. It was a school graduation dance that Andrew Wurst entered to take out his anger on the school. First he shot teacher John Gillette outside. He started shooting randomly inside the restaurant where the 240 students had gathered.

It was restaurant owner James Strand, armed with a shot gun, who captured the shooter and held him for police. There would be no further victims that day, thanks to armed resistance.
