Guys like that make me want to post my scary picture!  Only on the Penthouse forums does 'submissive' mean that the sub in question is going to kneel at the feet of any random twink and be grateful for the chance.  I -am- submissive.  My time here has confirmed that beyond a shadow of a doubt.  But I'm not -only- submissive, and assuming we're all just cookie cutter dolls waiting for any random jerk to devour us is very annoying.

Hmm, a very estrogen rich thread this is.  Personally I don't use it...most of the time I don't even bother to capitalize dom(see!) but you can't just jump on the doms for doing that.  I see subs do it in their profiles all the time.  Referring to themselves as this girl,  this one, or whatever.  And then referring to doms as the one or him...even if they don't have a one yet.  It's used on both sides.  Then again if certain people would bother to actually read profiles they might pick up on the fact that the sub isn't using those term and might not be into it.  Is it time for troll hunting yet?

And don't knock being pompous...I'm very proud of my pompousosityness....es.  Really I just like making people angry and that tends to do it in turbo.

Hydro I knew you were of my ilk. You little agent provocateur you. Where's your molotov cocktail? Or are you just happy to bathe in this oestrogen-rich (sic!) thread?

Ah, you see estrogen rich means being completely surrounded by lots of ladies and I do love that...or it means a lot of guys with glandular problems....not so glamorous.  Sadly, I seem to have left my molotov in my other pants.  Maybe I should just brake into a tirade of third personness right now. I'm sure the ensuing chaos will be similar to tossing the cocktail.

HA! I can't be muffled I'd just gnaw through the strap.

Ahem, If this one were I little more of a twue subie it would understand that it should never be spoken of out of the third person.  Maybe  I, in my Twuly Domly Domminess, should whip this pet's little ass until it realizes it's twue place is before me on it's knees.

Wow, I have a new respect for that.  It's actually quite a challenge to write like that.  But my point is clear now, on the floor pet.  lol...my head hurts

Just play with them and drive them nuts right back.. Sometimes immitation is the best way to prove your point.  I shall elaborate:

"Wishing this one was closer to Me so i could fill your every hole"

"Which one, Sir?"

"she will crawl to me" - no comment;

"Is she there with you now?  Does she have a lame leg that keeps her from walking?  Please help her up, I'll just wait here until you are done tending to her".

"What a shame this one isn't near me for my enjoyment" (!!!).

"Well, get off your bloody ass and  HELP her walk over to you.. Sounds like she is over there behind a shrub or something.  Maybe she has her foot caught".

I refer to this as "Tonto Speak".  Call the dude Kimosabe.

A lunchbox style package *gasping with admiration ?

Whilst I don't mind playing with packages once in a while, I still wouldn't like one of those things dangling between my legs.

Eeeewww

Kitten the world could use a few more incorrigible tarts...makes life more interesting.  If it were a better subie it would know this....I still don't see it putting the lotion on it's skin.  Oh Samba, by all means swell my ego even further.  Well, it's all about the size.  Small to medium just sits neatly in the crotch of the pants....large or above sort of has to be positioned down a leg lol.  How do you walk around with your breast bouncing all over the place? To put it in the words of one of my favorite video game characters...humans are just sacks of meat and water.  How does all that sloshing when you walk not drive you insane?

No clue piano, I was never a trekie.  My line came from HK-47 on Star Wars:Knights of the Old Republic....a smartass droid with a dislike for the living, except for his owner.  I want one just like him lol.

In the military, in basic training, the first person is not allowed to the men because they need to be "stripped" of the idea that they're important except how their commanding officer and the government sees fit.

It's not, so much "objectification" as it is "de-humanization". It's a "chink in the armor" of our ego, which needs to be broken down (to varying degrees), if we're going to serve.

"Sir, this recruit requests permission to make an emergency, standing head call, sir!"

In the case of the military, it also serves to show the men that they are all equally (worthless [to the chain of command] until they prove themselves to be) qualified to serve.

Hmmmmmm ... to my mind, I see some parallels ...

Early on, if a submissive wishes me to accept her service, I need to know that it will be pleasing to me and, while I detest the word "training" is needed in some form or another. I can be exacting and I have a touch of the O.C.D. going on and certain things must be done, as I wish them done. So, I would see this method of third-person reference as a good, early, "training" aid (I've used it, before, in the military).

However, just like the men eventually graduated basic training, a submissive whose service is pleasing should be given certain "latitudes" (In my mind); one of them being the privilege of NOT speaking about themselves as if they haven't proven themselves yet.

Yeah, I guess this makes me pompous but, that's why there's 8 horses in each race.

Peace and comfort,

Michael

i keep telling you, dragon, it's hard going braless with 50DDs.  women my size wear these binder thingies called bras.  they don't slosh but they do bounce gaining the wrong (or right -depending if i'm in the mood to flirt) attention.  *wink*

Personally, I do not care for third person speak. I find it annoying, especially since I am an author and at least some respect to the English language is my preference.

I also hate text speak, but will use it for text messaging, but only because of the limited space, otherwise using it in forums and online is rude in my opinion.

I do, however, understand the concept and reasoning behind the third person speak at least. Yes, it is used as a form of training to bring a slave or submissive to a level where she truly sees herself as property and not as a free-willed person anymore. Here is my problem with it. #1. Unless the submissive or slave has entered training with the one talking to her then they do not have the right to use that tone, especially in an introductory commentary. #2. ONLY the one doing the training has that right and the right to determine when and where the submissive and slave shall use it for herself. (I have used it in the past, however I WILL NEVER USE IT AGAIN).

Those that use it for just anyone they contact are assuming way too much and are showing no respect for someone that currently is either FREE and UNOWNED or the property of someone else. Until a submissive or slave has submitted there is never an excuse to treat them as if they are owned.

I do not see these Dominants that do this as Wannabees but as Disrespectful and someone that I would recommend avoiding, for if they will not respect the Freedom of someone before they are owned, they will not respect the guidelines they agree to before the relationship begins. (I.E. Limits).

My life would be so much more boring without your DD's to poke fun at...or just poke at.  Oops, slipped out of Hannibal mode.  It pokes the DD's with the stick and then banishes it's ship mates to the netherworld!
