I've seen a whole lot of topics about what people want from their Dom/mes or subbies, but I don't think I've seen one about what turns you away from a prospective partner.

What are the top things physically that make you unattracted?
What are the mental things that turn you off to a person?

For me:
Physical- I really dislike excessive body hair [and I mean really excessive], as well as any sort of flab. It sounds a bit hoitytoity, but looking at fat really does make me nauseous.

Mental- I hate stupidity when it is an overarching theme and not just an occasional lapse of judgement. I also dislike when Doms don't listen to what I say just because they're Dominant and they think they're above criticism.

[If this is a repeat thread, I'm terribly sorry.]

Poor hygeine, desperation and a lack of self worth.

I generally find that physical attributes vary a lot according to personality, i.e. certain physical traits on some people will bother me, but on others with a different personality I find cute.

I'm weird.

Physical: Poor hygene. All-round, everyone agrees upon thing.

Personality: Idiocy, in any of it's more prevailant forms. Unwilling to better themselves...

Stupidity, but not the generic sense that I think a lot of previous posters are stating. The turn off for me is not because someone is not intelligent but because someone has no desire to learn more and thinks he or she knows everything that is needed to know. These are the sort of people who will argue over any subject, even if they know very little about it or read a synopsis of an article about the topic. These are the sort of people you see rolling their eyes because an actual intelligent response is too much work. These are the sort of people who make snap judgments of others based on stereotypes of others who they stereotyped before you.

Physical: I'm generally turned off by excessive piercings. Yeah, I know a lot of people in our community have them, but at some point they become a bit much for me. They seem to exude a sense of "yes, I'm much cooler than you" and I'm comfortable enough with myself to realize that most people are cooler than I am, so I don't need a billboard trouncing that fact.

Physically = bad hygeine, comb-overs (bald is hot, being in denial isn't), lots of body ink.

Mentally/Emotionally = willful ignorance, intolerance, and (my all time favorite because I just a dump a Dom because of this) coldness and not being affectionate..

Turn offs ... hm.

Physically, I can't really think of anything if I have bonded with this person on a mental and emotional level.

Otherwise, excessive and ridiculous control (constant and needless micromanagement) irritate me. Lack of consistency pisses me off. Lack of clarity will do it. Closed-mindedness. Refusal to learn anything from anyone (or worse, from one's own mistakes).

physical - no skinny/rail thin men (i like guys with some meat on their bones)

mental - arrogant, ignorant, egotistical, too hung up on race, under 30 (sorry but if you're the same age as my younger brothers, we have nothing in common), immature, lack of intelligence, no proper command of the english language and having no interests/hobbies outside BDSM . of course what others have said - poor hygeine, poor manners, etc.
