Rose4Mistress -> RE: Claiming "experience" and giving advice (6/6/2007 3:42:23 PM)

I admit that I am hardly experienced, and would never claim more experience than I have. For this reason, I am selective about what I will give advice on. The proper use of a flogger? Nope, don't know enough to "improve" another's techniques. But in the questions of relationship dynamics, emotions, and situational help, I may be able to offer some advice. Not because I have years and years of experience, but because I am human, and can related to people. If a submissive woman writes a post about...oh say, her Dominant taking on another submissive or slave when she is strictly against poly...yes I can advise on that. I have never been in a poly relationship, but the simple advice would be: If you are being hurt by something, and don't like it...it would be better to remove yourself from the situation. Simple as that. Anyone could comment on something like that. But I do see how it could get frusterating seeing posts by people who assume that they are knowledgeable on subjects when they have no experience with the topic... Just my two cents,
