BTW, re the seedless watermelon, Oh Great Guru of Fruit......I'm sitting here eating seedless watermelon for my breakfast, and there are little white seeds all over the place in it!  Got an answer for that?

Well, sure.  That's just something every human being has to come to terms with as part of the cost of doing business on planet Earth.  But I figure what's true with regard to humans is true of dust mites -- of course you're going to get shit on, but that doesn't mean you have to run around with your tongue stuck out trying to catch it like snowflakes, if you'll forgive the imagery.  

But you're right.  Come to think of it, I've never felt clean.

So, another question:  What is the single greatest benefit and single greatest drawback of being alive in this age?

give me some advice....my oldest son wants to go to a new school next year (he is 12) . He is gifted and talented art- plays drums and maintains an A-B average. They have a school in our town for gifted and talented children but it will mean he will be in school until 4:30 pm and until 2pm on Saturdays and in school until August..do you think this will be too much for him? I wonder if you can have too much of a good thing........I am not sure.[&:]

Sure I have an answer... did you think you actually stumped me?

The white seeds are the digested seeds from non-seedless watermelon. The guy in the sewer picking out the pieces doesn't always do a good job.

Look... why waste his time (and yours) with him in school? Put him to work and make him earn a living. Forget the child labor laws... you were already in labor with him and it doesn't apply.

With him working just think of the stuff you can buy.

That would depend on the reason that the back of the horse fell off to begin with. A few 2" drywall screws and some gorilla glue and you should be set.
