Whoops, that puts me in a world of doo-doo now, then. It was a big mirror. Hmmmm......any chance of invoking that mathematical forumla, "a negative plus a negative makes a positive"? If I was already having bad luck, maybe this will turn it around?

A negative plus a negative equals a negative. A negative multiplied by a negative equals a positive you mean.

Wait, wait! I just thought of an out. Let's do the grammatical rule........using a double negative negates the negative.

Actually, I have great regard for the dust mite, for it strikes me that he's really on top of the food chain.  Virtually wherever we go, they will flourish in the hundreds of thousands...

To Gauge's  concerned-turned-horrifed neighbour:
