owner59, that is exactly what the left did do.  You must not have been paying attention back then, the Doonsbury guy even thought it was real.  I remember when it was new, every link and footnote off the page went to a joke site.  Great idea, lots of eyeball hits, somebody made a few  bucks from it.

In reality the Military does give a test that is comparable to IQ to everyone, even pilots in the Air Nat Guard.  Kerry and Bush both took the same test.  Bush scored higher.

IQ has fairly little to do with smarts, per se.

And Bush is actually a lot smarter once the camera is off, or so I've been told.

Please bear in mind that he only needs to do one out of two things to score big: either (a) postpone the worst consequences until the next non-Republican term so the fallout hits the other guy, people having too short an attention span to avoid associating it with that party, or (b) manage to put the nation into a state that can legitimately be declared a national crisis, so that he can postpone the next election "until the war on terror is done", which it will never be, since the Bush gov't and terrorists live in symbiosis.

The left did no such thing.It was a joke,and a few people got fooled,and made retractions,including Trudeau.

That was it,no shenanigans,like what Fox news did,with a web site called"Insight"."Insight" is a wacko outfit owned by the Rev.Myung Moon(btw,the republicans love Moon,b/c he gives them so much financial support).Insight put out the bogus story,that Obama went to a  Madrasa (the extremist schools that teach hate),and Fox and the right wing echo chamber repeated it and repeated it.Rush Limbaugh and the ditto-heads talked and joked about it,Hannity chimed in and they all got lots of mileage from this scumbag technique.

I am guessing that you are speaking of the GCT (General Classification Test), if I am mistaken please correct me.  How did you find these results and would you care to share this data with us?

I didn't grow up with computers either (ENIAC was too big to fit into my bedroom), but I am savvy enough to look at someone's posts over time and see the repeated pattern of demanding evidence, followed by silence or denial.

Those of us who have actually served in the military and long after, don't owe you a damn thing Bounty... including an answer to your insulting challenge.

It is easy to claim hero status from behind a computer, although quite frankly none of the many HSLD types I've known over the years were so insecure that they had to bring up their ancient history constantly to prop up failing argumentum ad hominem...
