I know I'm gonna regret this [8\|], but here goes.... MagiksSlave, Perhaps you just don't understand how dismissive and even insulting your words are to some people here. You may not understand the feelings or the relationship dynamics, but that doesn't make them any less valid than your feelings and your relationship. Wouldn't you be offended or at least perturbed if one of us started a thread about how lazy and uninspiring masters are who never challenge their slaves or push them out of their comfort zones? Especially if you posted in that thread explaining your and your masters relationship dynamic and feelings - only to have someone pop up and say that your master is immature and weak for not pushing you out of your comfort zone, etc? There are ways to post questions if one is genuinely interested in learning about someone elses viewpoints or relationships without dismissing them or insulting them in the process. You could have posted, "Because my relationship with master doesn't involve what I consider to be suffering, could those of you who do want or need suffering in your relationships share the reasons and feeling behind it?"

I have been reading some of this thread (although admittedly not all, so I apologize if I am being redundant). I haven't seen anyone answering the actual question: who the hell made this rule?! There is a rule? I haven't heard of this rule. Personally, I'm a sadist. In my search for a submissive/slave, I seek someone who is either a masochist, or at least derives pleasure and fulfillment from pleasing me by satisfying my sadistic nature. In fact, the later is preferred. However, if it is not consentual, then it is not a relationship, it is abuse. I have encountered many slaves who are not into pain, and who don't want to experience pain. Some are simply into service, either domestic or sexual. This is what negotiation is for. I don't believe any one should be expected to suffer beyond what they consent to, and if someone consents to something they are not willing to follow through with, then they are simply not being honest, and they can get themselves into a situation they may regret. Bottom line: there is no rule, only personal preference, and everyone is entitled to their own choices.

At least now, you hopefully have some comprehensive of the degree of suffering you have put me threw by having to read your posts to get to the replies by Kyra and Archer I wanted to read. Im really not going to argue anymore, I didnt mean to come off as judgmental. if i did Im sorry and will pick my wording better in the future, but the only thing i am truely guilty off is wording things wrong which isnt anything that anyone els here hasnt done. Using quick reply: I don't consider anything he demands of me or uses me for to be suffering. Comfort zone or not, difficult or not, like it or not, the fact remains when he is done I'm still breathing, I'm OK, I still live in relative luxury with a man I adore and worship, there is food in the fridge, we have health insurance, the bills are never overdue, my kiddo gets the best of everything, R takes care of everything, when I leave the Island and to go to work, I work with homeless and mentally ill substance abusers..now they suffer, life for them is not cake and pie...seeing them puts it all in perspective.
