Status: offline 		The problem is that disruptive behaviour might well be a diversion to allow terrorist colleagues to carry out some atrocity, and on the principle of better safe than sorry, protest must therefore be suppressed ruthlessly.

Such as when the elderly folk who attended a Labour party meeting last year in the UK were arrested under the Terrorism Act for heckling. Such as when an exclusion zone is placed around the Houses of Parliament where one may not make any demonstrations.

Seems to me he was just behaving like an over indulged adolescent and generally showing off. !

Status: offline 		A shame, the kid had some valid questions for ol' Kerry.

However, from what we could see of the video, he was initially resisting arrest. And at the end when he was being tased, we couldn't see what was happening.

Although the description of the video is funny, "His question was too long for the police so they handcuffed him and tazed him"
Not true at all, as the kid was resisting arrest. But still funny.

AND of course you can hear some douchebag at the end screaming, "Police brutality! Rodney King!"

Maybe Kerry should of thought of that before he went to one and tried to supress someone's right to free speech. The kids was absolutely right UNTIL he resisted. He should have let them drag him out and made a case about his rights. And ladyE - protest should be supressed ruthlessly? That's WAY over the top.

but it was a support rally no?? So, Kerry had his rights to be there to speak and those that want to 'hear' should attend.  If this guy wanted attention, he can make his own damn rally!

Status: offline 		I think it's an overreaction by the police. It sure doesnt look as if they are trained very well if it takes more than 6 cops and a taser to take down one college kid who doesnt even look that strong.
I think the whole situation could have been resolved much differently without there being such a scene.

I agree.  He says he wanted to ask too more questions.  Going by the  youth of our county's mindset, one was probably "do you wear boxers or briefs".  He did reek of "attention whore"

It`s called the "Brooks Brothers riot",because all the so called "rioters",were all prepys,with neck/bow-ties,and business casual cloths on.You get to the part about the riot, about halfway into the clip.This was the riot that shut down a legal ballot count,in one Florida precinct,during the 2000 presidential election.Had there been real cops around,they would would have been arrested.

I wish there was a taser shoot into each one of those rioters.The non-consensual electro play,would be getting plays on Youtube,forever.lol
