Oh give me a break.  First off, address the original issue or admit that Republican don't give a flying fuck for the men and women actually dying in Iraq.  You know, the ones without body armor, a plan, or leadership...

As for Feinstein, she isn't "stealing" anything from the Vets.  The EDITORIAL from the netorioiusly right wing WSJ editorial board is a bit over the top.  The bridge to nowhere was spending (or in the case of Republicans, borrowing/taxing against the future) real money.  The "4 billion" in question is potential future earnings IF the parkland was buldozed and turned into apartments and other developments.  NOW they choose to whine about veterans, the same ones the Republicans spent the last six years screwing over by NOT funding them, ala Walter Reed.  NOW they get worried about pork.  They weren't worried about it when the bridge to nowhere was proposed by a Republican, they weren't worried when Republicans were running ran up massive deficits, they weren't worried when South Dakota got as much homeland defense money as NY and CA.

So fucking typical...

Heh...
And I suppose putting an ad in the New York Times bashing the general of our military in Iraq is not backstabbing our troops....

Give me a break.

Regardless of the particular article, we've done it, Simply.  It's more theater.  If the Dems wish to end the war, they now have the power to cut off funding.  They don't, so they won't.  Ever see those commercials about the rewards points on credit cards?  That carrot just never seems to get any closer (but keep voting for us, and it will next time.  We promise.)

It's not like 387 acres of West LA might be worth a few bucks to pump into that neglected system.   Oh, wait...nevermind.

As usual, the Dems are talking all the right things, but just can't bring themselves to actually do it.

I find it hypocritical that Democrats claim to support our troops while turning around and claiming the general of our armed forces is a traitor. Not only that but morons like Murtha trashed those Marines at Haditha before they were even tried and convicted. Now it turns out the charges are being dropped against those Marines and Murtha is refusing to apologize.

Like Bush said today... Democrats are more afraid of organizations like Moveon.org than they are of trashing our military. The Dems know they need those nuttly leftist votes to win elections. And those nutty leftists hate our military.

LOL   But is she hot, DG?

Funny how this concern for un-biased reporting was such a non-issue on the Dan Rather thread...

Which Dems did that?

I think I know the problem,to much Rush Limbaugh, not enough reality.

Hey cyberdude,if you support bush, this war and our troops so much, why aren`t you in the military?Just how do you define hypocrisy?

I don't know...Might have to perv her profile on CM....Tranny4bush...lol.

Didn't check into the Danimals thread....read the article in the paper...Sounds like sour grapes that he was hung out to dry while running with an unsubstantiated story....I don't know how much time an anchor spends on collecting a story...But still, if you are the one saying it then you are responsible for those words...Bad Dan. Bad Dan.

Hey,Rather got fired,and payed a price.

When people fuck up in the bush administration, they get promoted, and given the Medal of Freedom.

There`s a disconnect,somewhere.

It takes a rare breed to successfully run with a tragically dead cultural icon.  The burden was your choice.

(Perhaps I'm the next Karl Rove?)

Why support a failure, who is also a lying puppet?

Look how many TALENTED people they needed to ask before they got one stupid enough to take the job.

So, when he shows up in congress DOING NOTHING BUT parroting the talking points Bush had ALREADY spent months himself parroting, you believe he deserves any respect??? ( Jon Stewart did a GREAT "split screen" "Bush said months ago/ Petraeus saying the EXACT SAME THING" bit which really illustrates Petraeus' lack of original thought.

Incredible.

Well, we know why the military lacks honor and discipline I guess. Starts at the top, and since there isn't any at the top...

You know how we can tell Moveon was EXACTLY RIGHT?

Look how the people HURT by the truth FREAKED THE FUCK OUT.

Petraeus' Surge's Score in Iraq: 17% of stated goals accomplished.

You call that a "Success"???

Incredible.
