I have met multitudes of women who are into the goth thing and dress like subs or doms. Unfortunately, they have no interest in BDSM. There oughta be a law!!!!

Wouldn't it be nice to talk about your BDSM escapades the same way that vanilla couples and folks talk about it over lunch at the office?

If people in your office are talking about sexually charged matters, they need to be taught not to do that. In most businesses that is considered incorrect.

If the women are talking about sex and a male coworker joins in, he is likely to be called on the carpet for sexual harassment. When in reality the subject should not be discussed at the office.

Just because you get your rocks off eavesdropping on the cute receptionist talking about her wild weekend doesn't make it appropriate. And for every person who enjoys hearing this there is someone who finds it offensive and difficult to pay attention to their work with this going on.

Just like most offices have a rule stating you can be fired for accessing inappropriate websites, most of them have rules about inappropriate conversation.

Daddysredhead- redheads look ridiculously hot in black! I love redheads personally- they're so rare, they stand out, in a good way. My Master has brilliant red hair which fascinates me endlessly and he wears ONLY black (but more to do with colour-blindness and vanity - nothing matches his hair, so he says- than matching aesthetics.)

To the OP- are you just assuming people who wear latex corsets and collars are not into SM? I take it you've met a bunch who dress as though they're into BDSM but are not actually interested in it?

But of course! You should be allowed to spank any chick who walks by in a corset!! What is wrong with the world today? :(

in my line of "work", i review bands within the goth/industrial subculture ...and yes, you do see a lot of them dressed in latex, rubber, chains and collars - however it's more of a fashion statement than being in the "lifestyle". a couple of bands while performing on stage will act out M/s or D/s scenes but that's just for audience entertainment.

yet, there are a few who are into BDSM and only perform at fetish parties hosted around town.

Neither of U/us are "Goth" but on occasion we apparntly dress that way. As for how the "Goth" subculture dresses in regards to BDSM, it doesn't bother me. I suppose the point is to stand out a little more.

My UM and her friends are Goth--they do however ask Me what things mean so if they are out and someone approaches them with a misunderstood meaning, they can respond with a calm explanation versus a hostile response.

Items can have differing meanings in different cultures and at times not mean anything---in the 70's I wore the Iron Cross as did many of My friends as it was cool--today I would not knowing what the original meaning is---however...
