Wow. Looking everything over I see to many making me nod in agreement to add my kudos to them all. But I do want to add particular kudos to the battle of the guitars scene in Crossroads, the D-Day landing scene in Saving Private Ryan and the "turn the game on," scene from One Flew Over the Cockoo’s Nest.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest is one of my favorite movies and I would like to add the ending scene to the list. I have a strong anti-authoritarian streak in me and I love watching Chief pick up that heavy marble sink – the extra bit of strength he needs born of the sheer determination to be free – and throw it through the window. The crash sound of the sink flying through the window to me is a resounding crash of freedom. Yea Chief!

I noticed some have left out the flashback/realization/makeup clothing scene from The Crow.

Eric has all his memories come flooding back and he physically re-enacts what happened to him, ending with him flipping out his window, coming back in and landing in a kneeling position. He watches his cut-up hands heal themselves. Then he gets dressed, paints his face and stands at that window overlooking the city as the crow lands on his shoulder and lightning strikes, illuminating his new 'look.'

Other than fight scenes, let's not forget the one movie scene that had forever changed our lives as youth.

This is not my favourite scene from this movie but a good one I came across. This movie is brilliant, freaking brilliant, Once Were Warriors.

I did a little search on it and the tagline for it is, "Her only chance at the future is to embrace the power of her past."

This scene illustrates what they mean by that.

..ooooh, oooh, ooooh......just remembered another great movie scene. Remember that old Homer's Odyssey homage 'The Warriors'? The part near the end where the biker gang leader clinks the bottles on his fingers and sings creakily "Warrrrriorrrrrs, come out and play-yay...."

Raiders of the Lost Ark the "I was sixteen" - "You knew what you were doing" scene. Hmm hat, whip, rogue.. *le sigh* early stages of being corrupted.

Serenity - "I aint had nothing between my legs that wasn't run on batteries...." - the whole thing with Jayne cracks me up.

Serenity - the final fight scene between River and the Reavers - damn that woman can move.

Serenity - the Grenades....

300- not an actual scene from the movie, but the 'It's Raining Men' short....

X-men 3, where Wolverine kills Jean. The exchange between them...

Pathfinder, when he makes the choice and kills the last of the Norse men threatening his people.

Blood and Chocolate, that entire damn movie!

They let her do a little ballet last night on Terminator. She's clearly got more joints than the rest of us.
